Viela rats Taggie out and she flees and angry mob

The enchanted oak staff of the headmistress appeared on her hand, signaling the beginning of her new position. “Thank you, everyone. Now, as promised, the two miscreants responsible for desecrating today’s most solemn of memorials are, of course, my favorite troublemakers, Taggie and Delphi. Let’s give them a round of applause.”

“I should have known.”

“Just wait until I get my hands on those two.”

“What did they do to the cherry blossoms?!”

“Where are they? I want to give them a piece of my fist.”

“Look, there they are, near the back!”

“Eeck, time to run!”

The two elves weren’t out of the crowd yet. An avalanche of hands descended upon them, grabbing onto anything they could, like their tunics. In a **** attempt to escape, the two slid out of their clothes. They ran out of the open-aired assembly hall in only their underwear.

“Good luck, tigers,” Kim told Taggie as she ran by. “Ha! It is refreshing when it happens to someone else for a change.”

“After them!”

With an angry mob hot on their trails, the two elves sprinted at full speed across the campus. Their bare feet trampled flowers, they jumped over rails, slid over mud, and even swam to try to get away from their pursuers.

The two reached their room. Would it survive a siege? Only one way to find out. Taggie grabbed the knob… and she felt her heart go to her throat. “H-hey Delphi, you know how Viela is always messing with our stuff, and we decided to try and stop her by locking the door?”

“N-no.”

“Yeah, the key is in my tunic…”

“There they are. Let’s get them!” The mob had caught up to them.
