Video Games

You couldn't fully answer this one with absolute honesty, not without making yourself seem like a child. Truth is, ever since you were a kid, you loved video games; if you hadn't become a spy, you fancied yourself becoming a pro video gamer (then later a streamer, once that started to seem like the more valid career path). The games had helped you improve your hand-eye coordination and- maybe- your driving and shooting, essential skills for a spy. Studies were still conflicted on that effect. However, the games had also taken plenty of your social time and occupied your mind, even at the worst of times.

You answered that you weren't much of a party person. Not great at socializing.

"You mean you're a video gamer?"

How did she know?!

"Look, I like video games too, okay? That was my answer when I was doing my interview! Ha ha..." Goodbye laughed, looking momentarily nostalgic. "It's okay to like video games! It's the year 2020- adults play games now! Just uh... Well... Maybe don't mention it around the office."

You told her you understood. That would be unprofessional.

"No, I mean... We can game after work if you want... I'm just saying, don't mention it around an agent named Despedida, under any circumstances."

Before you could ask what she meant by that warning, Goodbye had already moved on to the final leg of the introduction.
