"Still job hunting?"

My celebrity roommate, Victoria Justice, was sitting on the kitchen counter with a drink in her hand.

"Yeah," I admitted. "But ten years as a hypnotist isn't exactly qualified."

She gave a warm, caring smile. Even in high school, she was always the 'mother hen' of our social group. Hence why she played Tori Vega on Victorious back in the day.

"You'll find something," she said. "But in the meantime, can you use your technique on me?"

"Sure," I said. "Can I ask why?"

"There's someone I like," Victoria said with a blush. "But I don't have the courage to tell him. Plus I have an audition coming up and I usually get flustered..."

"So a confidence boost," I said. "I can do that."

I had her sit on the couch and do breathing exercises, then showed her a pocket watch. Her body began to sway with the swing of the watch, and when I commanded her to sleep, I watched her head loll forward and her eyes close.

"Victoria," I said. "When I wake you, you will be more confident in everything you do, from auditions to telling your crush how you feel."

I was going to wake her, but I couldn't pass up the opportunity to mess with her more...
