Via the alleyway

Lorenzo left school and began to make his way home. to save time he decided to cut back down the alley. Upon entering the alleyway he was greeted with the familiar pungent smell he smelt before. Still walking he could hear a voice calling out, "Hey little lady, fancy another cigarette?" Lorenzo stopped in his tracks slightly scared. He turned to face the hulking man whose presence could only be described as intimidating. The man outstretched his vile hand expecting the packet to be placed inside. Lorenzo reached inside his pocket and pulled out the cigarettes and lighter an placed them inside the man's hands.

The man took out two cigarettes and placed both between his lips. He bought the lighter to his mouth and lit both with a plume of smoke leaving his lips. He removed on of the cigarettes from his mouth and offered it to Lorenzo. Lorenzo was to scared to decline and despite his inner voice telling him not to he accepted the cigarette. Again with the cigarette perched between his index and middle fingers, Lorenzo bought the cigarette between his lips and inhaled. The smoke entered his lips and invaded his lungs. Lorenzo took a breathe and the smoke entered his lungs. He tried his hardest to stiffle his cough with only a small one breaking out. At this moment the Giant man laughed and said "You're getting better little lady, I never did ask your name?" Lorenzo finished coughing and began to reply, "My name is Loren-" Before he had a chance to finish the man cut him off, "Lauren, That's a lovley name. Mine is Mark." Lorenzo didn't know how to react. all of his interactions with Mark had been tarred with Mark assuming he was female. This could be the perfect time to correct him but what if he upset the giant man infront of him?
