K-T was in the habit of very often losing, damaging his clothes or having them stolen. His mom reaction to that was to establish a strict budget for his clothing to make him more responsible. As such he kept whatever clothes survived a long time past the point where them stopped fitting him and often got second hand clothes.

Her sister Emily ran track in middle and high-school, her team recently changed colors for their uniforms and she was left with 5 pairs of very short red athletic shorts cut for girls. Despite being his twin his sister was slightly slimmer than him and those shorts were very thigh on her. (it was nearly time for her to buy new ones when they changed the uniforms.) Still this was better than to be bottomless, especially when he had to cross the street and walk to blocks to bring back a leaf blower.

He struggled to put them on as always but with a last tug he managed to fit in them. The outline of his genitals was clearly visible through the thin synthetic red fabric. The shorts were so thin and made of breathing material that he could feel fresh air through them and often could barely feel wearing anything while he had them on.
