Venus is the worst

"I would pre-pos that should a planet be destroyed then it should be Venus. Venus is the worst planet in our solar system. It is the hottest at 471C and has a thick crushing atmosphere that contains toxic heavy metals and sulfuric acid rain." you conclude.

"Thank you for this option, this is precicely why we decided to add a human to the council." Birthna replied. "We will bring this option to a vote."

The votes came though and it was decided. Official First Contact would be made then venus would be destroyed and Galactic species could stop off at Earth, follow the rules you set about visiting Earth and the Galaxy would get a new interspace highway.

The rest of the meeting was taken up by agreeing on a set of laws for visiting Earth.

You established that Eating is not an acceptable form of greeting on Earth but should both sides be willing and off Earth then one may eat part or all of the other as part of greeting or mating rituals or for sustenance.

Sex and exposed genitalia were also not an acceptable form of greeting and any mating rituals should be done in private. This included off-world if children were present. You had to convince a few races that exposed breasts were considered the same as genitalia on Earth but eventually, all but one species agreed to this. The one species that disagreed were the species that Birthna represented. You agreed because of the average 12-foot size and their A cups being the size of our E cups it would probably be too hard to cover them and they would be above the heads of most humans making them less noticeable if they did visit our planet.

Finally, all currency was to be converted to the local Earth currency at least until Humans get used to the conversion rate for Galatic currency.

There were a few species-specific rules and some warning about some of the dangers of Earth but most of the details would be sorted after Offical First Contact.

At the end of the meeting, you were dismissed and sent back to your enclosure. You were told that you had a few hours to rest before your selected mates would arrive. Also, you had two offspring due at any point that day.
