Vanessa returned

Cutie's POV

We needed a way to rescue Vanessa. Or at least, I thought we did. Susan came rushing into the throne room.

"Vanessa is back." she said.

We rushed over to the infirmary. Vanessa was laid on her stomach, passed out. Tom rushed in shortly after we did.

"Lauren handed her over." Nurse Hartley.

Vanessa woke up shortly afterwards.

"Marel tortured me. Lauren..." she said, weakly. "She saved me."

Glad to see Lauren had some standards.

"Everything's gonna do okay." said Tom.

"We will make Marel." I said. "If Lauren had Vanessa released, her alliance with Marel will not go through so we won't have to worry about them teaming up on us."

"What if we allied with Lauren?" asked Susan.

"It would be effective." I said. "But what about after we win?"

"What do you mean?"

"We want to fix the broken system in this school and having one of the queens that represents that system would make it look like nothing had changed. People even think I'm just Lauren's puppet. We are going to have to humiliate Lauren in a way she will not agree to."

"What about Gina?"

"Yes, we will need to humiliate her too. I plan to train her ass for that day."

"Train my ass? Humiliate?" asked Gina.

"I'll explain further when we get home." I said. "Just know that I do not hate you. We're only doing this so that others you have hurt won't take it further."

Trust me, Gina, you will thank us for this.
