Vanessa gets confronted

The old man approaches Vanessa as she’s greeting some of her guests. “Excuse me, young lady. I demand to know why your sister is dresser the way she is!”

Vanessa turns to look at Lauren acting as if it was the first time. “Oh my goodness,” Vanessa says. “I’m so sorry for my sister’s indecency. I told her to get dressed properly, but she simply refuses to do so. I think she’s still disappointed she lost out on the inheritance. I told her I would give her a portion of the money, but she refused it, but now seems to be lashing out,” Vanessa explains.

“Oh, I see,” the old man says. “So you would give your sister clothing? Please, go offer her some clothes. I’m curious as to how she will respond.”

Vanessa smiles and nods, as she approaches Lauren. “Lauren, why are you dressed like that? You’re making yourself look bad. Come, let’s go upstairs so you can put on some proper clothes.”

Lauren has a look of hope and nods as she follows Vanessa up the stairs as Vanessa brings her to a room. “Wait here,” Vanessa says. “I have the perfect outfit for you.”

Vanessa returns with an outfit that causes Lauren to gasp. “You’re going to be wearing this,” Vanessa orders.
