Vanessa’s Watch Party

As soon as Maria had called her telling her to tune into the television, Vanessa knew exactly what she needed to do. She made quite a few phone calls and invited people that Lauren knew very well.

The first person she called was Kenzie Pierce. Kenzie was Lauren’s punching bag growing up. Lauren would absolutely humiliate her and berate her in front of everyone calling her nasty names that shouldn’t ever be repeated. There was one time Lauren put hair removal in her shampoo resulting her being called Baldie KZ throughout sophomore year. Needless to say Kenzie hates Lauren and wished she was taken down a peg.

Next, Vanessa invited Danny Wilcox. He was Lauren’s first ever crush that she would often attempt to hit on despite him having no interest in her.

Vanessa kept making phone calls to everyone who hated Lauren one way or another and invited them all to her house.

The final call she made... Victoria Adkins. Their mom. She said. “Hey mom, yeah I know. I’m sorry I upset you, but I wanted to let you know that I heard that Lauren is starring in a TV show and thought you might want to watch it live. No I have no idea what it is or what to expect, but she said it’s her first step in the acting career she’s planning on embarking on. Channel 6. It should come on soon. Bye. Love you.”

Vanessa smiled as she hung up. This was going to be amazing. She invited all of the guests inside as they came in one by one all taking their seats around the television that was set up with the channel Lauren would be appearing on very shortly. She made sure to record it and just before it went live, she said. “Thank you all for coming to this very special Watch Party! I was told that Lauren will by starring in a show in just a few moments. I don’t know what to expect, but I wanted to really show our support for her. I suspect this new role will be... life changing for her.”

And as she said that, the intro to the show started. A man in a penguin suit waddled onto the screen and said. “Hey kids! We have a special episode to honor our very special customer! Her name is Lauren Samson and she is 4 years old! Sorry, 4 and a half I’m told! I couldn’t tell the difference! She’s freshly passed her potty training class, but still has a few issues from time to time especially at night. Still a tremendous achievement nonetheless!”

The camera panned over to the stage where there was a staged pre school set with Lauren Adkins standing in the middle with the bottom of her diaper peaking out from her under her outfit. The room filled with laughter and the show had only just begun.
