What's next?

Vacuum doesn’t work so she continues other errands

Jenn looked up and down to see what was wrong with the vacuum. She checked to see if something was clogged in the machine. She tried unplugging and plugging back the cord, yet nothing was turning on the vacuum.

“Well, it is pretty old vacuum. I guess it is time to get a new one,” Jenn shrugged, “I guess vacuuming could wait another day,”

Jenn figured that she should start working on another errand. She figured she could finally bring in the new couch she had just bought and build it herself. That way, her daughter will come home and be surprised that there’s a new comfy couch in the living room floor. A smile formed from an excited mother.

“I’ll go right to that,” Jenn thought.

She head to the front door and switched from her pair of indoor slip-ons to a pair of flip flops. She opened the front door and walked towards the back of her SUV. She opened her trunk and found a large box inside, exactly the way she last saw it.

The independent woman tried lifting the large box but she soon realized that it was too heavy for her. She gritted her teeth, held her breath, and gave it her all to lift the box but the stupid thing wouldn’t even budge. Jenn took a deep breath as she wiped sweat off her forehead. Thinking about it now, when she bought the couch, she had the staff carry the heavy box to her truck, rather than herself. She could wait for her daughter to come home and they can both lift it together but that would mean she would hold off two errands for later which she didn’t want for herself and it was a perfect opportunity to finish her errands today while she’s alone. Jenn stood alone in her driveway with her hand on her chin, trying to figure out how she can move this package.

“Hello!!! Need some help?”

Jenn heard a familiar voice.
