VR Day 4 - Get back to the lodge

You and Viti have to hike to the lodge in the dark. Coach Aran says she wishes she could give you a ride, but she does not have a car. She says something about getting around using her suit. You want to ask what that is about, but you really have to get back.

She gives you a flashlight and the girls loan you jackets. Jill points and gives you directions to the lodge. She takes out a marker and grabs your hand.

Embarrassed, you watch her draw a picture on your palm. She pokes it with the marker when it's done.

"If you are going that way, watch for this," she says to you.

"What is it?" you ask.

"An umbrella."

"OK..."

"If you see it, text me." She writes a number under the picture on your hand.

"Sure," you say.

"See you soon," Coach Aran says cheerfully as you and Viti leave the swim camp.

You wave back. What does she mean? Why would you see swimmers? You are at the soccer camp...

You spent all day being cold, and you are spending the night being cold. Branches and leaves crunch as you and Viti stumble through the woods, waving the flashlight around. You have a landmark to follow: the tallest hill, so you can't get lost... but that also means you are going uphill, which is hard.

It's very creepy in the woods at night. You hate it. Viti is not afraid, but she is worn out and panting for breath.

"What is that?" she asks after you have been going for more than half an hour.

You point the light. There's something in the trees. It's really spooky out here, and this doesn't belong. You start to get scared, but then realize it's a building. Why is there a building out here? It's not very big...

Viti moves toward it and you follow. You find a concrete wall. On the other side is a door that has... you point the light at your palm, then at the picture on the door.

"It's the umbrella thing," you say to Viti.

"Strange," she says.

It is... You wonder what this tiny building is doing out here. You would like to text Jill, but she must have forgotten that your phone got ruined in the water. You cannot text anyone.

"Oh. Look at that," Viti says, pointing at a security camera next to the door. It's pointing straight at you.
