VR Day 11 - Saturday

You can hear the rain on the window. It’s dim and overcast outside as though it’s still early, but it’s not early. The morning got away from you. You woke up cuddled with Viti, and she woke up too. Even though neither of you said a word, you were perfectly in sync. Even after such a horny night, you both had a… lot of passion.

Now, hours later, she lies on top of you. Your bodies are stuck together. Your hands rest on her soft skin. You have both been contentedly slipping in and out of a doze, kissing, and for one frantic little bout, humping against each other’s sticky bodies until you erupted even more stickiness into the mix. You feel really bad for whoever is going to clean this room.

But you’re also getting hungry.

“Want some breakfast?” you whisper in her ear.

“OK,” she murmurs back.

You **** yourself to wake up and move, rolling her onto her back and getting on top to kiss her.

“Should we get out of here?” you ask.

“What?”

“Away from the Lodge and camp and stuff. I don’t want to be around anyone but you,” you say. It’s true. The thought of facing your team, or worse, the FUTA people today… You and Viti have to get out of bed, but you don’t have to stick around.

She doesn’t react the way that you expect. Her face kind of falls.

“Let’s just stay here,” she says.

“Oh,” you reply, taken aback. “OK.” You aren’t going to pressure her or anything. You move so she can get up, then you sit up and watch as she walks to the bathroom.

It’s a little awkward after that, and you aren’t sure what you said that was so bad.

Downstairs, you eat some breakfast with her, but you have definitely messed up somehow. Viti is a quiet person by nature, but you have spent enough time with her that you can tell this is different. She’s not exactly being cold to you, but you feel something wrong.

You decide to try to be a good person about it and not be clingy, so you give her some space. But… you can’t handle it. You go to find Sheva. She’s the only person you know that might know Viti better than you do. They have known each other for years.

Outside the Lodge, watching the rain, you quietly tell her what’s going on. You don’t go into detail about the lewd stuff, but you make it clear to her that up until a few hours ago, you and Viti were… great together.

Sheva sighs. “This is the trouble with Americans. Hasn’t this already been mentioned to you? She’s from India. Her family is in India.”

“So? I asked her on a date,” you say. “Not to marry me.” You would so marry her. The thought makes you blush.

“A date in public. We’re celebrities now,” Sheva reminds you. “You would be seen.”

You understand. “You think her family wouldn’t understand? I thought it was starting to be OK to be gay in India.”

“Not for everyone. It’s a country of a billion people. Some of those people are quite conservative,” Sheva says, nudging you with an elbow. “Including her dad.”

“Oh.” You sigh. Shit. So that’s the problem. She’s scared to go out because someone might like… take a picture of the two of you together or something. She doesn’t want to get outed to her family. And you also, by bringing it up, reminded her that there’s a big obstacle in front of her. If she likes you as much as you like her, that has to be a terrible, terrible feeling.

“I fucked up,” you say, putting your face in your hand.

Sheva rubs your back. “It’s not your fault. All Americans are ignorant and self-centered. Not just you.”

“Thanks,” you say. “I think.”
