Chapter 5 by Mmmm102 Mmmm102

...???

Useful information

Notes to future self, reader and writers

The protagonist of the story is Jimmy. The story itself is told in third person, although a second or first person POV may be used. POV may be switched around between characters.

Although I would like continuity be adhered, I realise that imposing continuity across different branches is cumbersome and arduous. Therefore I only ask for continuity to be observed in related chapters (ie. a chapter should not violate the continuity of its preceding chapters). This will give extra flexibility and less time spent tracing the progress of different characters.

People might be puzzled by the dialogue in the opening chapter. However, in short, (I may expand on this as a story in the future) this Jimmy is a 'different' Jimmy. A result of a Jimmy from alternate reality transferring to this Jimmy's reality (think about alternate universes). The Jimmy from the other reality (Jimmy Earth One), is an old scientist who possesses both black and brown pens (this take place years after ''A New Beginning'' after the **** of Eric and David of the Earth One reality) and created the blue pen.

For some reason (which will later be thought of and expanded), Jimmy E-1 decided to visit an alternate reality (E-2) with his three pens in tow. Now, technology is very advanced in E-1 which allows Jimmy of E-1 to travel to Jimmy E-2's reality. However, there can be no two Jimmy's, so Jimmy E-1's consciousness takes over Jimmy E-2's.

This means that the Jimmy of E-1 really is inhabiting Jimmy E-2's much younger body. This gives him full knowledge of black, brown and blue pens. He also have all three pens in his possession.

Blue pen further information:

People who are zapped by the blue pen convulses briefly as Jimmy's consciousness enters their mind.

The way the blue pen work is that the zapped victims believes that they are in fact a part of Jimmy's consciousness. It's akin to wearing a Jimmy-tinted glasses. So Tina who is zapped by the blue pen is influenced by Jimmy's consciousness.

The 'clones' retain full memories and mannerisms of the victims, but not thoughts as thoughts are fleeting. They can act 'in character' should it be required.

The best way to imagine this is the victims of Joker blood transplant in Arkham Knight. All of them becomes Joker-like, but still within the boundaries of their 'character' so to speak.

More will be added later. Feel free to message me if you have any questions.

(Chyoa editors notes: This explanatory chapter was written by the original author of this chapter, and likely much of this arc. Their name is no longer available on writing . com where the original story is from, though.)
