David aimed the gun at Seth's body, preparing to shoot it again. For better or worse, David deep down knew that nothing could get worse... Unless it could? David shook his head, not even wanting to think about the possibilities, and he shot the gun before anything else could be thought of.
The blue beam shot out again, this time though ricocheting off of Seth's body. Much similarly to before, David didn't even have time to react to this before the beam shot off the walls and right into David's chest.
"Fuck! No!" David exclaimed, realizing that he would soon undergo the same fate Seth just experienced. He looked around frantically, as if some magical exit would appear, but there was nothing. Whatever David could do, he knew he didn't have much time left. Eventually though, he got the idea to run out in the hall to find someone to help him. He didn't know where he'd go, but he knew he needed to act NOW.
He ran out, looking around quickly, not even having much time to think about his choices, but there were some key details that instantly rushed into his head.
- Just a couple feet down the hall were the stairs that led basically right to the exit to the building.
- Right in front of him was one of his neighbors, Rikki. She was really nice, but David had to admit, she was a little dumb.
- Right next to him was another dorm room that to be honest he wasn't sure who lived there. Could be better than Andrew, could be worse.
- Finally, he knew for a fact that Mike, a nerdy tech guy, would be in his dorm, since that's all he ever did was stay in his dorm, but the only problem was that it was on the complete other side of the hall from him.
