Do you voice discomfort about her colleague's touchy behaviour?
Use a serious tone
"What was that?" You frown.
"What was what?" Ada asks, taken aback by the irritation in your voice.
"Your colleague...Jim. I don't like the way he put his hands on you."
"It's not even anything weird, he was just giving me a side hug, that's normal between colleagues!" she argues, flabbergasted that this was apparently too much.
You bite back the urge to accuse Jim of having inappropriate intentions, and state, "Well, doesn't matter if it's normal - I don't like where his hands were going."
Ada raises an eyebrow before deciding this wasn't worth arguing about "It's really not that huge a deal, but fine. I can't avoid him since he's my colleague, but I'll try to be more mindful."
You drive the rest of the way in silence, as she looks away from you and out of the passenger window pointedly, slightly disconcerted by your jealousy. You eventually pull into the carpark of the 'Coral Brewhouse', an upscale bar that you'd both been eager to check out for a while now.
