Update The Script And Thank Her

You are tempted to take the beautiful actress right then and there, but your professionalism wins out.

“Thanks for pointing out the problem, Ms Brie” you say, stepping back and giving her time to straighten herself up. Was that a look of disappointment on her face?

You write the changes in the margin of Alison’s script. “You’ll have to show these to the director yourself. I’ve been paid for the script and I’m not actually involved anymore.”

Now you’re sure that she’s disappointed. “That will never do, John” she says. “We’ll need you on set in case anything else comes up. I’ll talk to Michael.”

Alison is as good as her word. Within a few days you have a contract to be a script advisor on set. Your career is really taking off!
