Update 2

Now that I am drawing close to the 50% mark on the re-write of book 1, I am beginning to consider how to post it. Over on Royal Road, it makes the most sense to just submit it as a new story. Here, though, things are more complicated. I can't just edit the existing chapters, because the re-write includes alterations to the plot that stretch out the beginning and middle of the story. Things just won't line up properly. However, I don't want to abandon the other authors who were writing their own threads here by starting a new story page. I still hope that some of them may come back when I start posting again. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know.

Regardless, Book 1 v2 will start being posted here and on RR this month. You can already see the new cover art (technically, the rough draft of the new cover art). For those who just can't wait, I have formally re-opened my Patreon at https://www.patreon.com/Zurai ; there are currently 40 chapters for Patrons to read. My update pace will not be the same as it was back last year when I first started writing Paths of the Chosen; right now, I am willing to commit to 2, 2k-3k word chapters a week, posted on Mondays and Thursdays. There may be bonus chapters from time to time in addition to those, but outside of the first week there will not be a chapter or more a day like there used to be.

Anyway, thank you all for being patient with me. I have not forgotten you.
