Up a tree, of course!

Avengers Tower. A staple of New York City. A massive, glistening reminder that, no matter how dire things get, the Earth's Mightiest Heroes are never far away! A wonderful home... But not really a place for squirrels.

The Baxter Building! Home of the Fantastic Four! It blends in a bit better with the New York skyline, but the science and heroism housed in there is unparalleled! Doreen is smart... But not that smart.

No, the Unbeatable Squirrel Girl didn't have her own dedicated Squirrel Skyscraper. Much like a certain spider, she was the type of hero that struggled to have a New York apartment, much less her own building. But she did have a pretty nifty treehouse right in the middle of Central Park! Nice view, lots of squirrely friends, and she could dress however she wanted!

Which is to say... Not at all.

"I'm just sayin', it wouldn't hurt to try an "honorary X-Men" system! I may not technically be a mutant, but my tail's more noticeable than half of their mutations..."

Doreen sat back on her palms with a dejected sigh. Being the squirrely defender of Central Park was great, and she had a whole bunch of friends, furry or otherwise! But she wanted to be part of a proper team. She wanted to be an... Avenger! She wanted to be Fantastic!

Unfortunately, her squirrel powers didn't exactly earn her worldwide respect, despite some pretty dang impressive feats. And even if a well-known team did take a chance on her... Her choice in superhero outfit was usually a deal breaker.

Doreen was totally, completely and shamelessly naked! As Tippy Toe, her grey squirrel best friend, pointed out with a chittered response.

"Okay-- Show me, in the superhero handbook, where it says that superheroes HAVE to wear some kinda fancy outfit!" Doreen demanded, her freckled tits shaking as her hands rested on her hips. "...And don't mention public indecency laws."

"We don't all have Tony Stark's wardrobe, alright? I think I've earned the right to be a respected, dignified super heroine, nude or not!" She declared, pumping her fist. Tippy Toe chirped, scampering up Doreen's curvy body and settling on top of her scruffy brown hair.

"But you're right about one thing-- We won't get our big break by sitting around and eating nuts. Let's get out there and show everyone how great squirrels can be, Tippy!"

Say what you will about Squirrel Girl-- She was never put down for long! All it took was a surprisingly good bounce from her tail, and the thick heroine was heading into the city, ready to show what she could offer!
