Unseen but...

Jane looked around nervously, her heart beating a hundred miles a second as her face blazed. Her face was red in humiliation of being locked out naked, but also in anger at now realizing she had a very good idea who was responsible for this.

"When I get in there, Kasumi, I am going strip you naked, stuff your head in a jack-o'-lantern, tie you up, hang you from the ceiling, and tell everyone I went out to pick up a piñata!" Jane hissed as she crab walked along the side of the house. "And I'll let Wrex take the first swing!"

A second later, Jane gasped as she saw a skycar go by, diving into a bush as it flew past. The redhead poked her head out, leaves and twigs stuck in her hair, just in time to see the skycar fly out of sight. Had the driver seen her?!

"I can worry about that later." Jane said as she climbed out of the bush, making her way to the backdoor.

"Oh, Shepard is gonna kill me..." Kasumi muttered as she left the back room. A second later, she let out a fearful squeak. "Forget Shepard. Liara is gonna kill me for pulling this!"

"Kasumi!"

"EEP!"

Kasumi turned around to see Liara walking up to her with a smile. "Glad you can make it! I do apologize your invite didn't go through, but you obviously must have found out about it from somewhere, huh?"

"Oh, uh, yeah..." Kasumi stammered with a nervous chuckle. "I just got the invite now, actually."

"Let me guess: The Invisible Woman?"

"Actually, I had no idea it was a costume party. But that does sound like a good idea!"

"By the way, you didn't happen to have seen Jane by any chance, have you?" Liara asked. "The last I saw of her she stepped outside for a moment. She's been out there for twenty minutes now."

"Uh... Nope! Haven't seen her!" Kasumi chuckled nervously as she sidestepped Liara and headed quickly for the dance floor, "I'll keep an eye out for her!"

Liara raised an eyebrow curiously...

Jane finally made it to the backdoor with a sigh of relief, thanking her lucky stars that no one seemed to have seen her. She reached out for the handle of the door and turned...

"Oh, EDI..." Jane whined, finding the backdoor was locked too. Jane sighed as she thought about what to do now. Looking around, Jane noticed that a window was fortunately left open.

Unfortunately, said window was the bathroom on the second floor of the house.

"Well, what do I..." Jane began as she looked around again, seeing a hot pink inflatable raft on a chair next to her pool. She sighed.

Commander Jane Shepard must had made quite a sight as she began to climb the drain pipe. Gold make-up on her face and arms, hair done up, leaves and twigs stuck in her hair, and wearing only a deflated pink, plastic pool toy carefully and tightly wrapped around her naked body as she climbed towards the open window.

She'd be a laughingstock if anyone saw her right now!

Still, Jane had to get back inside. She muttered angrily to herself of all the things she was gonna do to Kasumi when she got back in...
