Unpacking and a bet....

Unpacking was pretty easy for you since you only had a few items. A suitcase full of clothes, with an even smaller suitcase holding a couple of coats and underwear, and a backpack full of books, video games, and a portable console, you could get a TV to hook it up to and play games that way at some point, your laptop, and finally, your dad had given you a box of condoms, "just in case" with a wink. Your parents weren't stupid, but they wanted you to at least be safe. You had been unpacked fairly quickly.

"Dude, could you help me with this?" Jackson asked as he started unloading a TV from one of the large boxes on his side. You weren't sure how his dad managed to carry it, and if you had missed them carrying it up from earlier. Luckily you both had bed risers, so you helped Jackson set it on top of the fridge he pre-purchased for the dorm room. It fit just barely, the large TV underneath his bed.

"I saw you had a Videowitch console. You could hook it up to the TV if you'd like at some point." Jackson offered as gave you a cheeky smile.

"Sure I might, I generally play it in portable mode lately but we can game together at some point."

Jackson was gathering more things and placing them on his side of the room. Putting all sorts of posters up. You were a little shocked as you had hoped to put up posters slowly over time as you got to know one another.

"Talk about games Alex. Do you ever make any bets?"

You shifted uncomfortably, having learned blackjack and poker with your friends, you weren't really good at playing cards, so gambling wasn't quite your thing.

"I have..." you find yourself **** out, "in the past, why?"

"Willing to make a little wager with me? "

"Depends, what are we betting on?"

"Well we both look like attractive guys, and I assume you are hoping to meet women in college correct?"

"Yeah, that's a plus being on your own right?"

"How about we make a bet, the most who can get laid by the end of the semester gets to have the pot. We can make the same bet with the same items next semester. How about you bet with you Videowitch?"

"Hmmm, and what are you betting with?"

"How about this TV?"

"You shake your head, if I'm betting my games and the console it would have be a bit more than just a TV."

"You drive a hard bargain, Alex, alright you can have the TV and I can throw in $400. So what do you say?"
