Chapter 12
What else happens?
Unintended consequences
The rest of George’s morning was uneventful. With his balls drained and him still riding the high of his time with Sabina, those memories fresh in his mind, George went back to class and easily found the motivation to stay focused as the substitute Mr. Keller taught. The underlying fear of accidentally causing vast unintentional changes had subsided for now, but George still didn’t want to risk making it so that skipping class was preferable to participating in it. At the end of the day, George still wanted to graduate alongside his peers.
That didn’t prevent him from enjoying the fruits of his labor however. All around him, girls were fawning over the new young teacher, eyeing him as evidence of their arousal seeped from every angle. Some were fidgeting, many were staring, one girl even had to continuously stop herself from drooling all over her work as she daydreamed about Mr. Keller.
I wonder how many of them will masturbate to him tonight, he pondered silently to himself. If it was becoming normal to be as perverted as he was, than already most of his female peers were guaranteed to be sitting in a puddle of their own juices.
Soon, first period lead to the second, and that one finished not long after, the echoing school bell signalling it was now time for lunch. Grabbing his bags, he made his way to the school’s cafeteria, quickly spotting Dave and Ricky as his friends sat at their usual spot.
They were visibly animated, each smiling and boasting as they made conversation. Unable to hear them over the loud cacophony of talking students, it was only when he’d approached that George understood what they were talking about.
“...and then she asked Dave if he wanted to cum on her dress instead!”
“Yeah!” The man in question confirmed, grin wide and bright. “I guess she took pity on the fact that I don’t have any siblings, because she let me make an absolute mess of her sundress.”
What the hell are they talking about, he asked himself as he grew closer. He had every intention of verbalizing the question to them but his plan quickly shifted when he realized who they’d been telling their story too. Finally joining the trio, George quickly took his usual place next to Ricky, eyeing the quiet third party who sat across the table.
“Tom?” he asked, amazed at seeing their friend Thomas Ridler sitting here. “Why the hell are you here? Don’t you normally sit with Angela?”
As though he'd just insulted someone's dead mother, the question killed the ongoing conversation, Ricky and Dave both immediately deflating as they turned to stare.
“What the hell, man” Ricky chided as he elbowed him, George grunting in pain at the sudden ****. “Are you trying to be insensitive?”
“What?” George asked, unaware of what his friend was implying.
“Guys, it’s fine.” Tom calmly said across from them. “It’s not like I went around advertising it. There’s a good chance he doesn’t know.” The third party then turned to stare at George, his expression somber yet oddly neutral. “Angela and I broke up yesterday.”
“Oh.”
Is this my fault, he immediately asked himself, his fears returning. Tom and Angela were solid! A few more months and they’d have been dating for a year!
“How did it happen?” he asked, not knowing what else to say. He hoped his voice didn't betray the anxiety that had suddenly entered his mind
Tom simply gave him a solemn look, seemingly disinterested in the conversation they were having. “Honestly, we both realized that the relationship wasn’t really working for either of us,” he answered with a shrug. “It’s just, these days it’s much more commonplace to be single; we felt like we were standing out by being one of the only ongoing couples. It was fun and all, but ultimately it didn’t feel normal.” His tone made it clear that he didn’t regret the decision. In fact, Tom was so blunt with his explanation that George wondered if the break up had even affected him at all.
“I’m sorry to hear that...” he responded in a quiet voice, the young man doing his best to hide the fact his mind now reeled.
“It is what it is” Tom shrugged once more, completely oblivious his companion’s mental distress. Instead, he grinned at the three of them. “Let's not dwell on it. Dave’s the one with exciting news.”
At the mention of his name, Dave immediately brightened. “Oh yeah, you don’t know!” He turned to look at George, eyes shining bright. “I got a girl’s number today! Her name’s Valerie McMasters, or something like that. Get this! Ricky and I were in the room we told you about - the one near the English staircase - spying on your sister’s soccer practice, when...”
George bit into his sandwich as Dave began his tale, but he paid little attention. He was instead too busy trying to find the reason why an unintended change had just transpired. Is it because I’m single, he asked himself, **** for answers. Alice said something similar this morning, when I asked her if she was a virgin. She’d joked that no one was having sex these days, which makes sense because I’m not either. But could it actually extend beyond that?
Is it possible that not being in a relationship is slowly becoming the norm? Simply because I’m not in one? Are people going to start breaking up now, like Tom and Angela? How far will this reach? The other students? The teachers? My parents?!
What the hell, this isn’t what I wanted! I just want to leer at pretty girls and masturbate with them!
A familiar face caught his eye and distracted him from his cascade of thoughts. Across the room, he spotted Sabina Murez as she entered the cafeteria with a small group of friends, seemingly intent on finding a place to eat. He followed her as she made her way to her usual spot at the jock’s table, only to then frown as she and her friends darted passed it, instead heading for his own table.
As the group of girls approached them, George wondered if Sabina had told them what had transpired. His curiosity was even more peaked when Sabina abruptly stopped at the end of his table, taking the few empty seats there with her trio of friends.
Sabina Murez was sitting at the same table he was. Something she’d never done before.
Now what the hell is going on? Taking a deep breath to calm his racing nerves, he picked up his sandwich and dared to steal one last glance at the girl with whom he’d shared an intimate moment in the men’s washroom. To his surprise, she was staring back.
She was also smiling.
The pair locked eyes and Sabina immediately looked away, blushing deeply as she instead started a conversation with her friends.
Dave, who by now had realized George wasn’t paying attention to his story, turned to look and see what had captured his friend’s attention. When he spotted the girls, he just chuckled, his grin twisted into a smirk. “Can’t help staring at Sabina, huh? I don’t blame you; girl’s hot as fuck.”
“I’d do anything to hear her moan” added Ricky, who’d joined them in staring.
George ignored the comment, still looking at the girls. “Why are they sitting so close to us?” he instead pondered, his thoughts elsewhere. “Normally they sit with the jocks...”
“What are you talking about?” Dave asked in return, his frown evident in his tone. “They’ve always sat there! What’s gotten into you man, you’ve been off ever since you joined us for lunch.”
Could this be related to Faker? He asked himself as he pondered the situation. If girls are starting to find nerdy men attractive, could they be purposefully sitting closer to us? It’s what I’d do if I was crushing on someone. She did smile at me...
His thoughts were once again broken by the sound of the cafeteria door exploding open, this time resulting in a short girl he didn’t recognize rushing into the room. While she was a stranger to him, Dave and Ricky immediately recognized her because they both grinned upon seeing her.
“That’s her!” Dave exclaimed, pointing shamelessly. “That’s Valerie, the girl who told me to cum on her dress!”
Wanting to see what manner of girl had captivated his friend, George took a more focus glance the running girl as she blitzed passed their table, heading for one further down. As she ran by, George spotted an irregular assortment of dried stains covering the front of her billowing dress.
Dave’s cum from that morning.
“Holy shit,” he exclaimed, visibly impressed. “You covered her good, dude.”
“Right?” Dave replied with a laugh, grinning brightly. “She was practically begging for it. Thanked me for it too! She even gave me her number.”
“You got her number?” George said as he shifted towards Dave, excited at the prospect of his nerdy friend getting together with a girl.
“That’s what I was trying to tell you while you were busy staring at Sabina!”
George slapped his friend on the back, happy for him. “That’s awesome man, congrats! You going to ask her out?”
“Ahh…”
At the question, their collective excitement once again faded as the three men shifted their gaze towards George, each equally perplexed. Noting their shared expression, George slowly sank back into his seat, glancing at each of them in turn.
“Seriously? Again?” he asked, defeated. “What’d I do this time?”
Both Dave and Tom shared a sigh.
“Did you not hear Tom earlier?” Rocky quizzed him, shaking his head. “We told you, dating isn’t really the norm anymore. Yeah, Dave got that girl’s number, but it was solely so they could meet up and masturbate together again. She didn’t give it to him so that he could ask her out.”
Are you kidding me? George screamed internally as he stared at his friends. Has dating seriously become a thing of the past? Tom, once again a bachelor; Dave, obtaining his first ever phone number. Both of them were way to casual about the events that had unfolded. In that moment, George fully accepted the consequences of his unintended changes. Dating had now become denormalized in favor of meeting up to masturbate with one another.
Can I fix this? He asked himself, pondering. It should be easy, in theory. I just need to walk up to a girl and ask her out. Once I start dating, everyone else will follow. Simple, right? ...Except I’ve never asked anyone out before. How do I even do that? What if she says no? Whatever I do, I need to get it right on the first try because everything I do becomes normalized.
The thought gave him pause.
That’s right, everything I do becomes normalized. That means it doesn’t actually matter how I do it, everyone else will conform to the new standards of normal. I can ask a girl out any way I want. Hell, we don’t even have to formally date. As long as we have sex...
He grinned, a plan suddenly forming in his mind.
“Okay, fine. Don’t ask her out” he said, conforming to the new normality he’d set. “But, you should still let her know you’re interested in her.”
Dave chuckled at the notion. “Oh, I think she knows I was into her, believe me. She’s wearing the evidence.”
George rolled his eyes. “I mean, let her know you’re interested in going further.”
“Oh. ...And how do you propose I does that?”
“Simple.” George began, wide smirk plastered on his face. “Sent her a dick pic.”
The clang of Tom dropping his spoon was the only reply to bless his statement. Now, each of his three friends wore an expression George was all too familiar with. His sister had given him a similar look the previous night, right when he’d **** new normalities upon her.
“I’m serious!” he continued, not waiting for them to respond. “If you want to let someone know you’re interested, you send them a dick pic. Or, if you’re a girl, a picture of your tits or pussy. Look, I have one here.”
He started opening the picture of himself that he’d sent Alice earlier that morning when Tom cut him off. “Why the hell did you take a dick pic?” his friend asked, refusing to look at the image George was trying to show them.
“Oh, I sent it to my sister earlier today for separate reasons.”
Evidently this answer wasn’t enough for them, since they just kept staring at him, mouth open wide.
“Never mind that though,” he continued, unabashed, “all you do is send the person in question the photo and wait to see how they respond. If they reply with a similar picture of themselves, you know they’re interested in return.”
Fighting every instinct that told him to stop, George opened Sabina’s contact information on his phone, began a new text chain, and sent her the image of his cock.
“See?” he gestured, showing them the screen. “Simple as that!”
His friends just kept staring at him, incredulous. “I can’t believe you just did that,” mumbled Tom, mouth still hanging open. “She’s going to ruin you.”
My reputation’s recovered from worst, he told himself, thinking back to the incidents he’d had just a few days prior. He glanced back towards Sabina, checking to see if she’d received his message. From the way she was still happily engaged in discourse with her friends, it was evident that she hadn’t checked her phone yet.
No sense waiting for the fallout. Packing his things, he quickly told his goodbyes to his flabbergasted friends and quickly rushed out of the cafeteria, heading for his third period of the day. While he was confident that he’d just taken the proper steps to fixing the wrongs he’d unintentionally caused, he knew it would take time for his changes to come into effect.
Time he’d rather not spend being yelled at by friends. Or family, he mentally added, remembering the text he’d also sent to his sister.
He grinned, remembering her initial reaction to it. Considering the secondary meaning he’d just given the image, he wondered how Alice would respond now.
Given our relationship's new dynamic, I wonder how open Alice is to the idea of us going further. He couldn’t wait to find out.
Where do we go from here?
