Unintended consequences...

S: "How come you don´t have a boyfriend right now?" he asked out of the blue.

F: "I...don´t know. I often get told that I have a difficult character, but they mostly don´t tell me much more than that. Would you mind leaving me alone now? I...have things to do" she said getting up from the bed, cleaning her hand with the tissues.

Steve could see that she felt very uncomfortable answering that question. She looked really hurt. His question was just meant as a comment out of sheer disbelief, but it seems like she still had to answer it. He didn´t intend to do that. He...did he actually fall for her?

Steve pulled up his underwear and thought about leaving, when he turned to her for a moment. Franzi cleaned up her hand, threw the tissues into the bin and then turned around to see Steve stand right in front of her. As she was just about to say something, Steve gave her a hug.

S: "Sorry for that. I think you are good person" he told her.

Franzi was so surprised and overwhelmed by this whole situation that she didn´t move at all. She laid in his arms and let it happen. Eventually Steve let go and moved towards the door.

S: "And thank you for helping me out" he said smiling back towards her while grabbing the doorknob.
