"We should probably off this guy Kazuma!" Darkness stated, raising her blade.

"I agree!" Cremea concurred, her mace and shield up. "We can clear your name and pay off the manor with this!"

"Don't be so hasty, girl who is worried her sculpted abs make her less attractive to her Master, and girl with dreams bigger than her breasts," Vanir retorted.

"Eh!?" both of them demanded. "I'm gonna bash that mask through your skull!" Cremea raged.

"How do you know such things?" Kazuma asked, holding Cremea back.

"He has some kind of mind reading ability, genius," Ria noted.

"...forget it," Kazuma decided to let that go. "I don't think this guy's gonna be any more trouble..." Plus, he figured that Vanir must be in good terms with Wiz if he was adding two and two correctly. He wasn't going to act against Vanir unless provoked... Even if it would mean giving up a potential opportunity to get Derp off his back. "Mind letting us through? We have to get rid of that magic circle in the room behind you, then we'll be out of your hair."

"Oh? Indeed, that circle has been quite vexing, keeping me from entering that room... It seems you know who created that..." Vanir mused, before gazing intently at Kazuma, who recoiled slightly. "Oh ho! So you're the one responsible for Beldia going AWOL, are you? And Beldia doesn't even know he was fooled! Hahaha, that's hilarious!" Vanir cackled. "And... You're connected to multiple deities, even one not of this world!" he added, looking towards where Ria was, despite clearly not being able to see her. "...in fact..." he continued, his tone growing more serious. "...one of them is the so called Arch Priest who set up that circle, and the one Beldia was supposed to find in the first place! I've decided! I'm gonna go and make her regret ever coming down to this world!" he declared, getting up. "Don't worry though... I won't harm any humans!"

'Shit, he's after Aqua! Sorry Wiz, but he leaves us no choice! I just hope we can beat him!' Kazuma thought frantically, getting ready to fight.

"Like I'm going to let you touch a comrade and harem sister!" Darkness declared, rushing Vanir and swinging her blade... And Vanir made no move to dodge, and was cleanly bisected at the waist, and both halves fell to the floor.

"...what the? That was way too easy!" Cremea noted, lowering her stance.
