Unexpected Guest [Pets’ POV]

We charge up to the intruder. Who could it be!?

Oh its just a pretty girl. She seems nice. *pant* *tail wags*

“Ah… Hello…”

“Woof”
“woof”

“Chip, Daisy inside now!”

Awwww, We were just getting to know her. Inside we go through the pet door and into the living room. With not much else to do we lay down and wait.

The girl and Nick come back through the back door were we were waiting. We follow them toward the couches.

“So they really just think their dogs now?”

“Yep, pretty much”.

“Amazing”

The girl takes a seat and I jump up on her knees.

“O.. ah... hello Doggy” she pats me on head. Yep she’s a nice girl.

“Chip come!” I hop off and go to Nick.

“Sorry about that”

“Its alright... he’s just being a dog... They also have dog names?” she blushes.

“Yeah they already had them with their collars”

“Daisy come” Daisy comes closer.

“OK, I’ll now bring them both out of hypnosis and see if they’re right with having another dog visit.” At that she gave a blushed nervous nod.

“Dad, Mom sleep *snap*”...

“Wide awake *snap*”

Were slowly rising up off the ground (though just to all fours, somewhat hard to stand in knee pads) some what disorientated.

What were just doing...

I glance up and notice Olivia sitting on the couch.

“whaaa?!!” Anna and I both near instantly scramble behind the near by couch opposite Olivia. We poke our heads just over the couch.

When did she get here?! Why is she here ?! So she saw us as dogs?! and... hasn’t run off screaming…?

“Olivia here was dropping your purse back.” He puts down the purse on the couch. Anna seemed to blush at that. Ha, so its Anna’s fault. Well that explains the why.

“Hello, sorry for just dropping in. Nick has filled me in on the situation and why your... dressed as you are.”

“And the reason I’ve brought you out of hypnosis is Olivia has shown interest in trying out being hypnotized to be a dog and I wanted to make sure your fine for her to join.”

“I’ve always wondered what it was like to be a dog. What your doing looks like fun. I really want to try it.”

And that explains why she hasn’t run off screaming...Did she say try it? Be like us?.

“So what do you think?”

Well this could be interesting. This week was only ever to be Anna and I and with Anna I wasn’t really sure she would fully commit. Having another dog to play would be great.

I stare back and forth between Olivia and Anna. Olivia seems sincere. I think she really does want to join in.

A grin involuntarily comes to my face, I look to Anna. We’ve known each other long enough we don’t really have to say anything. She just looks at me and shrugs with a nod. YES. She’s in.

“Well... I guess the dog is out the bag as it were. This week was all about the responsibility of looking after a dog. If Nick thinks he can handle the extra responsibility, I’m, ah, we” I look at Anna for a final conformation, she nods, “are fine if you want to join. We do ask that you keep what we do here to yourself though. Not everyone is as... understanding.”

With that Olivia's face lit up “Oh of course, thank you.”

She turns to Nick “So what do I need to do to start”

“So first lets just lay out what we’re about to do. I’ll be hypnotizing you and setting some hypnotic triggers. The first one is a sleep trigger, this is a trigger to quickly bring you back to a hypnotic state if needed, the next is the ‘Doggy Time’ trigger. This will trigger you be a dog body and mind and the last trigger is ‘Hume-dog’, its like the ‘Doggy Time’ trigger but you have a human mind with human speech but barks for yes/no questions and has a the nagging instincts of a dog and a body that only works like a dog.”

“Does this all make sense?”

“I think so…”

“How about a demonstration of the triggers. Dad are you willing to help demonstrate”

“Sure”

“OK, lets start with the ‘Doggy Time’ trigger. Dad ‘Doggy Time’ *snap*”

I come out behind the couch. Tongue hanging out, tail wagging. Not sure what I was doing there anyhow.

“So this is the doggy time trigger. He moves like a dog and thinks like a dog. You saw this before.”

“Wow”

“Chip sit. OK lets try the ‘Hume-dog’ trigger. Chip ‘Hume-dog’ *snap*.”

My head clears.

“Hello”

“Could you tell us what it’s like in this mode”

“Like this I’m me but my body only wants to move like a dog. Every movement goes through a dog filter. If I want to move around” I get up and move about

“I automatically walk like a dog would. If I where to try and stand” I get up on my back legs to try to stand like a human.

“I can’t, I just fall back down to how a dog would walk. There’s also a lingering dog brain instinct that wants to do dog things like chase my tail, or chase after a ball”

“Fetch!” oh a sock, got to go get it.

I go running after it. Then comes back dropping it at Nick feet.

“Yeah like that. I just really had to go get it.”

“But you can overwrite it if you think hard about it. I’ll throw it again but hold you self back from getting it.”

Nick throws it just a little way away in front of us. “Fetch”

At the word I jolt, Nope I can fight it.., I’m…, not moving. I stay put.

“So how’s that feel”

“I really want to get it but, I can hold back”

“But you still really want to”, yeah I want it, let me get, let me get it, “OK, Go get it” YES I scramble over to it and bring it back to Nick.

“Good Dog”, Ah head pats, I am a good dog.

“So, Olivia, any questions you want to ask?”

“So you really can only move like a dog?”

“Woof”

“A single bark means yes”

“Wow. What's it like moving..dressing like a dog?”

I look down at myself, “Ah right... Naked. Until you asked it didn’t really register. Dogs don’t really care about wearing clothes and as for moving its the same sort of thing. If I want to walk around the room it just happens”, I get up and walk/crawls around the room, “It just feels like normal, automatic”, my tail starts wagging.

Olivia looks up at Nick “OK, now do me” she bounces “make me a dog, it looks like so much fun.” Wow she really does like this. We might have a third dog soon. Yay.

“OK then, Get comfortable, feet flat on the floor.” Nick picks up Anna’s crystal necklace which was still sitting out and held it up.

“Now focus on this crystal, following it back and forth…..”

She watches it intently, Nick talks her down into a deep hypnotic state. Giving her all the same commands as Anna and I.

“1, 2, 3 Awake *snap*”. Her eyes open. She stretches a little.

“Did it..”

“Sleep *snap*” she closes her eyes and slumps down.

“That worked well, she seems a natural like you to”.

“Woof”. Wow this looks like it's really happening.

“OK lets see if the dog triggers works as well as the sleep trigger.

Olivia, 1, 2, 3 awake *snap*, how do you feel”.

“Its like I’ve had a nice nap. Did it work?”

“We’ll soon find out. I’ll now say your ‘Doggy Time’ trigger.”

Her eyes went wide and nodded her head.

“Olivia ‘Doggy Time’ *snap*”
