Uncle Walter’s gift

Nathan opened the door and hugged Uncle Walter.

“Oh, Nathan, son, it's so good to see you again! How have you been?”

“I’ve been good, uncle. It's good to see you too, come in and take a seat! We should catch up” Nathan said with enthusiasm to his favourite uncle.

“Oh Nathan I am not staying for too long, I have some errands in town, I only came to give you a gift”

Uncle handed him a strange square storage device the size that fits inside his palm.

“What is this Uncle?” Nathan asked curiously. Nathan knew every invention his Uncle worked on, as he was invited to go to Walter’s garage filled with gadgets and tools very often. However, as he got older his uncle had become busier with his work and Nathan was busy dealing with his schoolwork as well.

“It's my gift to you for sticking by me for all my years, I will be going away and I don’t know when I will see you again.” He says.

“Oh, where are you going?” Nathan asks,

“Just a small vacation overseas, nothing big.” Walter looks at his watch “I gotta go now, but say hi to your mother for me.” Uncle shuffles Nathan’s hair “See ya kiddo”

He left as he came, Nathan shrugged his shoulder and went inside.
