Uncle Ricky

Looking around the reception room you see it filled with most of your extended family and friends. Your mother didn’t want the reception after the funeral to be too extravagant, but also didn’t want this to by too sad an affair, so she opted for an open bar. Sitting at the bar stool and gulping down shots of whiskey like it was water, was your dad’s older brother Uncle Ricky.

Uncle Ricky can only be described as the bum of the family. He had no job, no wife and kids, he still lived with your grandparents, and was constantly in and out of jail. He had grown quite the beer belly since you had last seen him, and you noticed how his hair and beard had grown longer and become unkept and tangled. He had also started balding at the crown of his head, adding to his pathetic demeanour. Your mother understandably hated him, he always touched her or made inappropriate comments about her, and she hated his ideas on life. None the less she invited him to your father’s funeral because he was family.

Though your mother hated Uncle Ricky, you had always had a soft spot for him. He had given you your first drink and your first cigarette. He had even snuck you into a strip club once. Ya, he was a bad influence, but you still liked him. Just then a devilish thought came into your mind and you set your powers to work.
