Un-Friend Zoned

As another night of hanging out, Mike found himself as a third wheel to Heather and her new boyfriend, Jimmy, in a local dingy little bar buying drinks for them again. As Mike approached the bar disheartened, that Heather had once again passed him up.

As Mike waited for the bartender an old grizzly man sitting at the bar spoke up, "Friend Zoned again, Mike? What has it been, 20 years of watching that fiery redhead, Heather, go off with someone else instead of you?"

Mike was about to go off on the old man, when a surreal calm washed over him, and he looked at the old man. "What if I could give you 24 hours with Heather where she would do anything you wanted, she was yours,", the old geezer whispered to Mike in a gravelly voice, "Would that be worth something to you? Say, my bar-tab?"

Mike thought for a moment, "Sure, I would pay off your $150 bar-tab for that, hell, I would give you that much in credit over that, if what you say can be true, but it can't so, good luck."

"Ah, but it can, you pay my tab, and Heather will leave with you, with the boyfriend's approval. And then for the next 24 hours after you leave here, Heather will happily and willingly do anything you ask her to, as long as you refer to her as MJ. That is the nickname you came up for her after the first spiderman movie, right?"

Mike looked at him, wondering how he could know that, but found himself feeling generous after a good week on the craps table and paid the old dude's bar-tab with a credit. Mike smiled at him and wished him good luck. As Mike turned to leave with drinks in hand, the old man grabbed his arm with surprising strength, "Remember, anything you want her to do, just refer to her as 'MJ', after 24 hours it will all be just a fun little game to her and everything will go back to normal."

Another hour later Heather's boyfriend announces that he has to be at work in the morning and tells Mike and Heather to have some fun for him and he will see Heather after the weekend. As he leaves Heather asks, "So Mike, what would 'MJ' do for you now?"
