Ultimate Wrath

The Oxen lunged, a brute **** attempt to crush the white bat and black hedgehog. Shadow spun, a whirlwind of dark energy, launching Rage skyward. Rouge, a blur of white, descended, aiming a lethal kick. Rage, however, seized her leg, slamming her into the unforgiving pavement. Shadow's teeth ground, a feral snarl escaping his lips. Rouge, with a swift, **** maneuver, kicked Rage under the chin, freeing herself.

"Cute," Rage chuckled, his voice thick with disdain. "The little slut thinks she can fight."

Rouge's eyes narrowed, a flicker of annoyance in their depths. A dark heat coiled in Shadow's gut, a simmering rage. A crimson flash pulsed across his fur.

Rage roared with laughter, "You've got to be kidding me! A giant robot, fine. But you? Just eye candy! G.U.N. must be even dumber than I thought, sending a big-boobed bimbo to do a real job."

With a lightning-fast strike, Rouge's heel connected with Rage's jaw, sending him reeling. She then launched a powerful kick, sending the Oxen crashing through a parked car. "Done running your mouth, Horns?" she hissed, her voice laced with venom. "They don't pay me the big bucks just for looking good, you dumb ox. I've got the skills to match. So what if I flaunt a little, it's my body!"

Rage charged, a furious onslaught of blows. Rouge danced around him, a graceful predator, her movements a teasing wink. With a powerful punt, she sent Rage crashing headfirst into the asphalt. "A body I'm proud of," she purred, "a body I take care of, a body I don't mind showing off. So please, stop embarrassing yourself. You're making this too easy."

Rage exploded, a vortex of raw fury. Rouge braced herself, her eyes flicking to Shadow, sensing his simmering rage. "Shadow? Something wrong?"

She dodged a brutal punch, countering with a swift kick. Rage seized her leg again, slamming her into the ground, a brutal, repetitive motion. "Shadow!" she cried, her voice laced with desperation. "A little help?"

Rage raised his arms, a thunderous blow about to fall. A deafening impact shook the ground, leaving a crater. Rage smirked, then paused, his eyes widening. Rouge was gone. Shadow gently set her down.

"What kept..." she began, then her words died in her throat. Shadow's eyes burned with a terrifying intensity. "Shadow, are you okay?" she asked, her voice filled with concern, touching his cheek.

He knelt, his gaze locked on hers. "I'm fine," he growled, his voice a low rumble. "A little banged up."

He rose, his voice a command. "Stay here. You'll get hurt." A flicker of raw emotion crossed his face. "And even if it's an accident... I would never forgive myself."

Rouge blushed, a rare sight. She'd never seen this side of him, this raw, protective concern. Something was terribly wrong. He vanished before she could speak.

Shadow materialized before Rage, a blur of dark energy. Before the Oxen could react, a relentless barrage of strikes pummeled him, an orange storm of blows. Shadow's leg snapped out, a brutal kick sending Rage crashing into a wall. He followed up with another, sending the Oxen sprawling. A sinister glow emanated from Shadow's crimson eyes.

He seized Rage, hurling him into the air. With a savage cry, Shadow unleashed a storm of Chaos Spears, each strike a searing jolt of agony. Rage screamed, a chorus of pops and cracks echoing through the air.

Shadow descended, his foot slamming into Rage's back, driving him face-first into the ground. The Oxen convulsed, his body wracked with violent tremors. Blood, sparking with errant energy, bubbled from his mouth. Fear, raw and primal, filled his eyes. "What... what did you do?" he choked, his voice a broken rasp. "It feels like I'm being electrocuted from the inside!"

Shadow ground his heel into Rage's head. "You reap what you sow," he snarled. "Your precious tech is short-circuiting, cooking you from the inside out."

Rage's screams were muffled by the earth. "What's wrong, you were so confident earlier?" Shadow's voice dripped with cruel amusement. "I wonder if you'll survive. If you do, you'll be a broken stain, shattering with a light touch." He applied more pressure, a sickening crack echoing through the air. "The machine pops, so does your skull. Poetic, isn't it?"

A twisted laugh escaped Shadow's lips, a dark symphony of vengeance. Then, a familiar warmth enveloped him, arms wrapping around him in a **** embrace. "Shadow," Rouge pleaded, her voice trembling.

He eased the pressure, his eyes meeting hers. Guilt, sharp and agonizing, pierced him. "Please, stop," she begged, tears welling in her eyes. "It's over. You won. He's not worth losing yourself over."

Shadow reached out, his hand cupping her cheek. "I'm sorry, Rouge," he whispered, pulling her into a tight embrace.
