Ty Lee the 2nd

Ty Lee loved life. She had all the privilege of being part of The Royal Family, with none of the responsibility. As The best friend and body guard of the Princesses, she got the best food, education, clothes, bed sheets, and got to see some of the best shows. And all she had to do was navigate the, sometimes, wild and confusing emotions of The Twins.

Princess Zuzu, the heir apparent, was usually pretty easy to understand. Cold, unresponsive, calculating, and shy... very very shy, Zuzu mostly just kept her head down and avoided her Mother as best she could. Of course she was more complex than being shy, and few people knew Zuzu better than Ty Lee, but keeping on Zuzu's good side was as simple as letting her cry on her shoulder every so often, and reassuring the girl that Ty Lee really did love her. Which was easy because Ty Lee really did love her friends.

Anko was always more fun, and trickier to navigate. Anko let her emotions run wild, and she loved to play games with people. Not just mind games, but game games as well. She loved watching sports, and liked playing them even more. Ty Lee got along with Anko better than Zuzu, but they also fought more. Anko, considerably less calculating and self-conscious of herself than Zuzu, didn't always know why she did things. Normally this was fine when they were picking on the cute nerd who worked the library, or tormenting her half sister Kya, but sometimes Anko would suddenly get upset with Ty Lee.

Ty Lee assumed it was because Anko was secretly insecure about her affections, but couldn't prove it. The time Ty Lee remembered best, she was flirting with a boy while at Anko's summer vacation home, when suddenly Anko used her wind bending to blast Ty Lee into the ocean. First Anko just laughed it off but Ty Lee couldn't, and still can't, swim. Once Anko remembered that she rescued her friend and cried as she apologized. That turned out to be the first night Ty Lee spent in Anko's bed, but the incident always confused Ty Lee. Why had Anko thrown her in the ocean so suddenly, it wasn't like Anko liked the boy. Ty Lee even asked Anko about it earlier. It was just another Anko being Anko moment, but stuck with Ty Lee for some reason.

Her life was a handful enough with The Twins, but even worse was her sisters. There were two adopted sisters, and a half sister. Her adopted sisters, Sakura and San, where both training to be Kyoshi Warriors. Sakura and Ty Lee got along super well, and Ty Lee loved spending time with her. San was tricky. The girl had a very love hate relationship with Zuzu, and as Zuzu's best friend and protector it made Ty Lee's relationship with San hard too. She was aware that San acted jealous of Ty Lee's close relationship with Zuzu, and often criticized Ty Lee for being 'weak,' but for the MOST part San was a sister and they got along like... well sisters.

Kya was a sister of a different color, literally. Kya was one of the few people in The Palace who shared Ty Lee's skin color. She was the daughter of Ty Lee's father, and his sister... gross. A year older than Ty Lee, Kya started out being a pillar of strength and support in Ty Lee's life. Proud of her Water Bending heritage, and fiercely independent, it was almost a cruel joke that Kya was a simple Palace **** and Ty Lee was the friend, lover, and protector of The Twins.

Ty Lee would never admit it to anyone, but she was a little jealous of Kya. She was beautiful, and proud. Most importantly she knew who she was, and unlike Ty Lee wasn't often confused with her mother.

One day, Ty Lee was wandering The Palace looking for some entertainment. As she did, she noticed Kya scrubbing the floors wearing her usual **** uniform. All The Palace slaves wore the same get up, no shoes, baggy sheer pants, dark colored bloomers so as not to distract the boys with their panties, and a breast covering that showed off the shoulders, back, and stomach, but nothing else. Atop this was usually manacles and **** collars, and Kya was no exception, only her collar had a blue sapphire in the center of it. Kya's outfit had other differences from the standard **** uniform, not just the sapphire. Her uniform was blue, rather than the standard red, and she was allowed to wear a white sarong around her hip, and Ty Lee wasn't sure why she was the only **** allowed to cover her booty. The Fire Nation brand on her right shoulder had a blue tribal knot-work band just bellow it as well. It was apparently a symbol of her heritage, and any other **** would have been punished for putting on such a thing. Ty Lee might have imagined it, but she swore she saw Zuzu wearing one while they were bathing one day.

Bored, and with nothing better to do, Ty Lee walked up to her half sister. "Hey Sis, you missed a spot."

"What? Where?" Kya asked, looking around confused.

"Right..." Ty Lee dropped some soil she grabbed from a nearby plant on the way there on the ground "Here."

"Ty Lee, I need to clean up, could you not play around!" Kya protested, cleaning up the spot and sounding annoyed.

"Yesh, you sound like your mother!" Ty Lee teased, knowing full well Katara was a sensitive subject for Kya. Ty Lee was rewarded for teasing the boundaries of 'okay' with a glare of annoyance from her half sister. "Oh I'm sorry. Did that strike a nerve?" Ty Lee patted Kya's head, leaving a second pile of dirt in her sister's hair. "Oops, looks like you missed another spot~!" Ty Lee's laughter was cut short when her legs were suddenly swept out from under her, and a sudden tide of water pulled her face first onto the wet ground. Before Ty Lee could even try to get up, her wrists and ankles suddenly got super cold as ice formed around them locking her in place. "Sis! This is going to far! Let me go!"

"I told you to let me work! And how DARE YOU bring up my MOTHER!" Kya roared back before using her water bending to spank Ty Lee with water whips.

"Hey! This isn't funny anymore! Ouch! Stop, big sis! Please!" Ty Lee cried out as she got spanked by the watery tendrils.

Kya laughed "I don't think you've had enough quite yet! How about 20 more!"

Ty Lee's heart sank, she didn't want any more, let alone 20! Fortunately before another strike would come, Zuzu's voice boomed through the hall "What's going on here!?!"

Kya looked embarrassed, then used her water bending to lift Ty Lee up, and dry her off. "Mistress, I'm sorry!"

Ty Lee watched as Princess Zuzu, and Anko walked up to them. Zuzu looked a little disappointed. "I thought I asked you two to stop fighting."

"You did." Ty Lee chimed in, even as Kya bowed apologetically.

"I'm so sorry! I failed you." Kya pleaded, it wasn't like her to be so... submissive?

"Knowing you two, Lee probably started it, but you're the big sister. Clean this mess up and meet me in my bed chambers. You'll need to be punished for this." Zuzu explained, as if everything happening was perfectly normal. Had Ty Lee missed something? None of this was typical. For starters, until about a week ago, picking on Kya was just something she and Anko did for fun.

Kya glared at Ty Lee a moment before doing a grand sweeping gesture with her arms. The water on the floor spun around, lifted up and landed in the bucket. Kya then grabbed the bucket, huffed, and marched off.

"What's with her?" Anko asked.

Princess Zuzu waved it off "She's probably still upset about something I said to her last night. I'll fix it. As for you Lee, please stop picking on her. You two are sisters after all."

"I know that!" Ty Lee protested. Zuzu didn't say any more, she just left. Once Ty Lee was alone with Anko, she glanced at her life long friend "Did I miss something?"

"We both seem to have missed something, because THAT was weird..." Anko looked around, then grinned at Ty Lee "I don't have any Princess stuff for a while, do you have anything in mind for the afternoon?"

Ty Lee was tempted to follow Zuzu, something was up and Ty Lee wanted in, but she was also feeling kind of wound up and wanted to see her favorite stress-be-goner, The Librarian Siran.
