Two

Jolyne slowly got up, rubbing her eyes and feeling as if she had been woken up from a deep slumber.

"What happened?"
"What happened?"

Jolyne jumped up in surprise and covered her chest, spotting what seemed to be another her pop up next to her.

"I read in a book sometime about how cells duplicate by splitting in half." Emporio looked away with a red face, trying his best not to stare. "It was like the you were a cell splitting, becoming two completely equal parts."

"Wait, so she came out of me?"

"No, wouldn't you have come out of me?"

"More like the both of you came out of each other," Emporio continued. "I, well, made some inspections and it looks like every part of you is identical. Like a split cell both of you are essentially the offspring, completely identical in your genetic make-up."

"Huh?" Jolyne had no idea how to feel about that. "What sort of enemy stand would benefit in completely duplicating the opponent?"

"It doesn't make sense," Jolyne continued. "At times I personally thought it'd be pretty handy to have another me around."

"This is still a big problem," Emporio said. "I mean, do you think the security guards would accept there suddenly being two of you?"

"Not a problem, just have her hide out with you."
"Not a problem, just have her hide out with you."

The two of them pointed at each other, immediately realizing they had to decide who would do what around here.
