Two weeks later all is well

James yawned as he sat up in bed, turning to look at the three felines lounging behind him. Each of his beloved mates was starting to show the signs of their pregnancy, their bellies now taunt as they lay stretched out on his bed, their breasts having also enlarged slightly as well as started to produce milk, which had added an extra layer of eroticism to their still frequent 'mating' sessions. James jumped when his mother's voice echoed up from downstairs, her first shout having been what woke him up.

His parents had been back for almost a week now, seeming somewhat surprised to discover his new 'job' at the Zoo he had told them about over the phone didn't actually happen at the Zoo. They had surprised him y shrugging it off, even offering to pay for his half of the semi-detached building to be converted to something more suitable for him and the girls to live in together. Slipping out of his bed, he pulled on his jacket, zipping it all the way to the top as he had now become accustomed to, not wanting his parents to freak out about the myriad of scars and fresh scratches that covered his upper body and arms.

"Hey mom, why are you guys in my half today?" James asked as he trotted down the stairs, stopping when he saw Elizabeth standing just behind them, looking embarrassed.

"James," his father said, "I must say, I do not know whether to be ashamed or otherwise with you. This is a very serious matter."

"Wait," James said, staring at Elizabeth in shock, "You didn't tell them about...That did you?"

"NO!" the young vet shouted, startling all three, before placing her hand over her mouth, "No, I didn't. It's just that...well..."

James blinked in surprise as Elizabeth suddenly leapt into his arms, pressing her lips to his passionately as tears poured from her eyes, "I'm pregnant, James. I'm going to have your child."

James stared at her in shock for a few seconds, before opening his mouth, then shutting it again, making him look like a gasping fish. He held up a hand as his mother tried to say something, before wrapping his arms around Elizabeth's waist and kissing her back, smiling as he broke the kiss, hugging her to his chest, "I'll take care of you both, and that's looking after, not anything else!"

"Wait," his mother interrupted, a look of confusion and annoyance on her face, "What's "That"?"

"Nothing!" James and Elizabeth said in unison, both going bright red as they heard an inquisitive mewl from upstairs, turning to see all three of the girls watching them with big grins on their faces.
