Two in the trunk.

The man took their clothes and tossed them in a bag.
They didn't see this, as they kept their heads down at his demand.

He put a zip tie on each lady, locking their hands together behind their backs.

He made the pair stand up and led them to the door.
With the gun still drawn, they had to comply

They were taken back outside...

He opened the back door of his suv with the key fob.
He made the pair climb inside and lay on their sides.

Another pair of zip ties came out, locking their ankles this time.

"One more thing to do. Time to keep you two quiet while I'm busy inside."
"We won't tell anyone. Just let us go," the Reporter begs.
"You first," he replies simply.

He goes around to her left and presses the tape gag (with a bit of cloth on the outside) onto her lips.
He pinches her nipples to test the gag.

The Assistant say nothing (fearing reprisal) but can't help but struggle a bit as he gags her next.

The bound Officer reflexively feels the cloth in her mouth and the gag on her lips with her tongue.

"The pair didn't know that we had cameras all over the place," the man explains to her, "So we saw and recorded everything.
Their captor- like many of us- loves to see what a victim will do in his absence.

He closed both doors on their sides and then the back entrance to the trunk.
What do you think they did?"

The Officer imagines all of the scenarios in a short amount of time.

"These ones were pretty creative," the man says, accidentally matching her thoughts, "They shared a long look at each other before agreeing to try and make an escape.

The Reporter got her door open- with some effort- and slinked out, carefully balancing on her tied feet.
She hopped a few feet away as her Assistant did the same..."

"So, they had a few options now while my buddy watched it go down. Do you think they made it far?"
The bound Officer wonders, enjoying this brief respite before her own peril begins.
