It was late one day, in the middle of Jake's senior year. A bunch of the teachers had gotten the flu and there were a bunch of sub teachers filling in for them. When the final bell rang, all of the subs left faster then the students could get to their lockers. Jake walked slowly to his locker, since he walked to school.
