Two Wrestlers Walk into the Ring

The murmuring of hundreds of people could be heard echoing within an arena with a glass dome acting as its roof. Stage lights were placed all around the building, but a majority of them were focused on the center of it, where a wrestling ring lay. The audience soon became quiet as they watched a man in a gold suit and U.S. flag-themed hat enter the ring. It became apparently obvious that the man standing in the center of the ring was the announcer for the night as he held up a lip-ribbon microphone to his mouth and began to announce the current match, "Ladies and gentlemen! In collaboration with the World Warrior and King of Fighters Tournaments." Stage lights suddenly shone toward a stage that had a pathway that led all the way over to the ring. "We've got a special exhibition match tonight! Introducing our first fighter of the night!" The announcer started as music began to play, "She's a young and up-and-coming wrestler who hails from Japan! An associate of The Red Cyclone himself! RAINBOW MIKA!" A blonde woman with two large pigtails entered, wearing a blue and white leotard with ruffles around the collar, sleeves, and leg-holes, as well as classic wrestling boots.

The crowd went wild as R. Mika made her entrance. Mika ran down the pathway as fast as she could, high-fiving her fan, who held out their hands as she ran by, before she leapt into the air and landed upon the post that was closest to her. She raised her hand into the air with only her index finger pointed out to the light above. Mika then flipped into the area, landing in a crouching position before she performed a side chest pose. After indulging herself in a series of other flashy poses to get the audience riled up, Mika eventually walked toward the announcer, who handed her the mic, which caused the music to cease playing. "Thank you all for having me tonight! Love you!" Mika held up a peace sign as she spoke into the mic before handing it back over to the announcer.

The announcer held the microphone up to his mouth and began to announce once more, "And for her opponent! Hailing from Mexico! She's the Knockout ♥ Free Spirit of The King of Fighters! ÁNGEL!" As he finished his announcement, a woman with short white hair walked onto the stage as her theme music played. Her attire consisted of blue chaps with a navy blue bikini bottom and a matching leather coat covering her ample chest. The crowd's excitement grew even larger as they watched the white-haired woman slowly walk down the pathway. When she reached the ring, she stepped over the ropes and began to walk straight toward the announcer.

As her music began to stop playing, Ángel held her hand out, and the announcer placed the microphone in it. Grasping it, Ángel raised the mic to her mouth and began to speak, "Looks like you guys are excited to see me." Ángel teased her fans, one of whom made an excited noise, causing her to chuckle and say, "I'll be careful not to disappoint, just for you guys," she flirted with a wink.

The two fighters stood in a neutral position in between the announcer, who took back his mic. "The following contest is scheduled for one fall!" He announced to the audience, walking out for the center the ring, leaving open space between the two women. The two locked eyes as they awaited their cue to begin the match. "Audience, are you ready?" The announcer called out to those watching live. A series of cheers and yeahs could be heard before he turned toward the two stars of the night. "Fighters, are you ready?" He asked them.

"Hell yeah!" R. Mika shouted, hopping slightly to emphasize her readiness. Her opponent, on the other hand, simply nodded back to the announcer with a smirk on her face.

"Well then!" The announcer raised his hand and exclaimed, "FIGHT!" before lowering it, signaling that the match would begin.
