Turn back and head for the main springs.

“Petra’s right Gilly. We can’t be sure it’s safe here. Besides, if we got lost down here nobody would know where to find us.”

Gilly looks dismayed but ultimately takes your advice as he exits the shallows. He looks longingly towards the springs before dramatically reaching out a hand. “Farewell Gilly Springs, I shall always remember you in my heart.” He places his hand on his chest for added affect.

“Pft c’mon.” Petra says tugging his wrist. The three of you cautiously make your way out of the cave back onto the path.
