Eventually however you sadly had to go through the motions once more with Dr. Steinbeck explaining the early centuries of both worlds, a test in your aunt’s class, the twins giving you a lecture on lighting safety after some experimentation on your part resulted in the twins getting a new hair style, Dr. Molotov making you start to work out physically, and finally another theoretical lecture on Necromancy.

You felt like Dr. Haas was holding you back at this point while you had heard that members in other sections of the same course in the Ceberseus house getting to summon low level ghouls and phantoms and here you were still talking about the summoning and theory behind necromancy but no closer to actually doing anything except further discussion and theory. Supposedly this was the section of the testing where you were rated to have highest potential followed closely by enchanting and yet here you are. A semester in and the only thing you had to show for it was theory and technique.

You weren’t one to push your luck or question a professor’s teaching methods but now you were having some serious doubts about Dr. Haas as you sat down in one of the courtyards of the campus you contemplated what actions you could take perhaps there was a reason he was holding you back like maybe he hated you or maybe he wanted you to struggle?

No that couldn’t be it as then why would he have agreed to teach you in the first place or at all then perhaps you should just ask him when you see him again on Thursday. As you put away your lunch wondered what challenges would await you tomorrow as tomorrow was your first day as an RA on call.

While you did have to deal with students especially your freshman peers it would be hard as like you said you were a freshman and didn’t really carry standing at all you were new money not old money so your wealth wouldn’t give you authority, you hadn’t dueled in a while only practice dueling against Dr. Molotov and your dueling fame had died down, and lets face it while you had a whole arsenal of spells that could kill or maim someone you preferred to stay and graduate not get expelled.

As you walked to the headmaster’s office you wondered what the two of you would talk about. Normally students would be assigned a normal school counselor with the counselors being assigned to a student usually they had ten counselors on staff to deal with the thousand or so students that was on campus from time to time. However most students didn’t need counseling usually just visited for the first few times before fading away.

You had never gone to counseling in fact this was your first time as the headmaster had been busy with Mr. Ashcroft and the whole investigation thing on Monday. As you reached the doors to his office you wondered what the headmaster would ask you about and what to expect. You took a deep breathe steeling your resolve something told you this would either be a walk in the park or an entire fight.
