Tsukane has very mixed feelings.

After orientation ended, Moka had led Tsukane off, wanting to explore the school. Tsukane was blushing furiously, excited to be hanging out with a cute young woman like Moka, vampire or not... But also feeling the jealous glares of all the male monsters around him.

'...I am... Very conflicted,' Tsukane thought. On one hand, it was very nice to actually be acknowledged by a pretty girl, but on the other, he knew that if he kept hanging out with Moka... He could kiss any hope of keeping a low profile in this school goodbye.

He either needed to get out of here, or figure out a way to ensure his survival in a hostile environment. He obviously could not afford to let anyone know he was human. He could probably sell his lack of any monster traits as just being very good at keeping his monster identity under wraps due to the school rules, if he just played his cards right, but he didn't know enough about the monster world to be certain of pulling that off well enough.

Of course, he could always leave, but could he be sure no monsters would trace him back to the human world, now that he had already stepped into this one? ... Oh the irony... Here he was, in a school where monsters had to learn to emulate humans... And he was a human who had to learn to emulate monsters...

His thoughts and casual conversation with Moka were cut off by a very unwelcome face approaching them. The same sleazy guy who had questioned the value of going incognito in the human world approached them. "You're certainly a pretty one," he leered at Moka. "You're called Moka Akashiya, right? I'm Saizo Komiya, your classmate." Then, without warning, Saizo grabbed Tsukane, hoisting him up. "And a pretty girl like you shouldn't be associating with a loser such as this," he added, tossing Tsukane down.

As Tsukane's mind raced, he listened in on the gossip that the onlookers were passing about... Apparently this Saizo guy had a reputation for causing trouble in the human world and had to be **** to come to this school... And he was also responsible for a good deal of sexual **** if what Tsukane was hearing was correct. This of course made his blood boil, but he could hardly do a thing at the moment.

Fortunately, Moka was able to see the writing on the wall as Saizo continued to talk himself up as well as get into her personal space, and she quickly grabbed Tsukane, and dashed off, shouting out an apology. Tsukane noted just how fast she was, and how strong her grip on his arm was also, which further confirmed the reality of his situation.

He changed a glance back to see Saizo smirking in a predatory manner. Shit... There was no way a man like him would give up easily... He had to figure something out with this, and fast...
