Trying to get a membership

Damn, Tom is still working the desk, though he looks distracted by the brunette leaning over the counter talking to him.

"Well handsome, do you know where a woman like me could find hot young guys to have fun with?" I could hear her talking as I grew closer. Another woman on a phone bumped into me as I saw Tom nodding and pointing to himself.

"Fuck Jerry you were supposed to be there when the plumber arrived, I'm down at the gym, Jesus you can't do a damn thing right" The woman who bumped into me screaming into the phone. I noticed her keycard drop on the floor. I picked it up, but she was gone by the time I went to tell her. I looked at the keycard. It was pretty standard, no photo on it, it almost looked like a hotel room key but it had the name "Pump it UP!" on it that matched the gym. I thought hard for at least a minute on whether to just use it to bypass having to deal with Tom today. I really just wanted to work out with Lia, and Tom was being an asshole about letting me do that.

"Hey! Wait! Cutie I didn't get your number?!?" Tom said as the brunette was walking away.

"Tommy boy, you're night my type, I need a real mean" She said as she walked into the gym.

"Uh Tom, I wanted to ask you quick-"

"Dammit loser I was just about to get that MILF's number and you BLEW IT!"

"Yeah I don't think so Tom, anyway some lady dropped her keycard and I wanted to turn it in. Also what do I need to do to get one of these?"

"That's not happy fuckface, I know you want a membership here so you can get closer to my girl Lia."

"Hey man look, do I need to talk to a manager or something? Plus she didn't seem interested in you at all." Tom went to grab my shirt again when another voice rang out.

"Thomas, are you about to put your hands on a gym member?" A blonde guy with a goatee said as he came out of a door behind the counter. "I could hear you yelling in the back, we've been over this, you can't only let women join the gym!"

"But uh look Allen he took some lady's key card!" Tom said accusatorily.

"No I didn't! I was trying to return it and sign up for the gym!" I snapped back.

"We would be more than happy to get you a membership, and lucky for you we're running a special, a free 2 weeks on the house." Allen quickly took down my information and then handed me my own keycard after taking the woman's from me. "Here you go! And thanks for being a valued member of "Pump it UP!" He said with a lot of enthusiasm. Please enjoy our facilities, Tom why don't we go do some customer service training in the back?"

"Oh hey! Dusty!" A voice from the entrance called.
