You close ranks with Melody as you cross the ring to meet with the Goddesses. They step a little bit away from each other, maybe trying to get some room to maneuver. The tension is palpable as each team pauses for a moment, waiting for the other to make the first move.

Athena turns out to be the one to strike first. She whips out a punch at your head that would have knocked you silly if Melody hadn’t seen it coming. She shoves Athena’s other shoulder to take her off balance, allowing you to grab her and hurl her into the ropes.

Aphrodite’s right behind her and ready to attack, but she takes a moment too long to react before coming at you. You slam an uppercut into her belly that doubles her over, and Melody follows up with a superkick, impacting Aphrodite’s face with a deeply satisfying smack and sending her reeling back to crash into Athena, who’s just rebounded off the ropes.

The two women go down in a heap, but you and Melody aren’t done with them. You rush over to their prone and squirming bodies, and Melody holds up three fingers, counting down to one.

When she reaches zero, you both jump into the air. The two power moves make contact at the same time, Melody sticking out her ample rear to hit them with a Banzai drop while your own knee drop impacts a little further up. Aphrodite, on top, takes the brunt of the blows, but Athena fares no better as she’s sandwiched between her partner and the mat. The two of you stand up and high-five gleefully as you leave the Goddesses sprawled on the canvas, utterly defeated.

The announcer is loving it too: “Oh my God, that was incredible! The challengers just completely demolished the Goddesses in a single round! Have you ever seen such a fantastic display of pure wrestling skill in this ring before?”

Whether they have or not, the crowd is going absolutely wild for you, chanting your names and suggestions for what to do to your beaten opponents. It’s time to seal your victory...
