Try to stop him

I had to do something. I picked up the broom and slowly creeped towards The Fabricator. Thankfully, he was too invested in what he was doing and the mayor was shouting so much that he couldn't hear me approach. I raised the broom and with all my might, hit the villian over the head with it. It hit with a loud crack as the broom broke upon impact. The Fabricator himself was knocked out of the chair. He rolled around on the floor, his head bleeding. "AHHH. You f***ing b***. You are so dead." He was still concious. I picked up the chair and raised it over my head. "For future reference you creep. The name is Nova Girl!!!" I brought the chair down on top of him and he crumpled liked a heap. I was afraid for a second that I had accidently killed him but the steady rising and falling of his chest said otherwise.

I went to the computer and checked on what he was doing. Thankfully I had stopped him before he could active his deployment system. All I had to do was disarm and deactivate them. As I went about the work I kind of forgot that the mayor was still the video chat. "Uh.....who are you miss." I smiled. "I'm a new Superheroine sir. You can call me Nova Girl." "Nova Girl......uh....interesting outfit." I blushed, realizing he was looking at me in my underwear. "I don't normally dress like this. That creep took my costume." Thankfully as I said that, I found a file that would release the collor around my neck so I could put my costume back on. "I just finished disarming the gas bombs. The city is safe sir." "Well Nova Girl, I must say, you have done this city a great service. Police are inbound. Would you mind making sure that The Fabicator doesn't escape?" "It would be my pleasure sir."

After signing off and getting the collar off, I put my costume back on. Before long, I was standing in my full Nova Girl outfit. Couldn't have the cops showing up to find me in my underwear could we? I then heard movement behind me. I slowly turned around and saw that The Fabricator had come too....and he looked angry. "You f***ing b***......I'm going to kill you!!!"
