Try to remove Seb as an issue

"It feels a little... wrong to try and use magic to make Georgia fall in love with me," Ethan said.

"You humans and your morals. If I had as short a life as one of you I daresay I would not waste a moment of it hesitating to pursue anything that I desired," Iala said. "Still, there are other avenues to pursue."

"Trying to get rid of Seb?"

"Not trying, child. Trying implies the possibility of failure," Iala said, sitting back on the desk. She crossed one leg over the other and rested her hands on her knee. "With my magics there is no outcome in which this 'Seb' is not separated from the young woman you covet."

"Well, whatever you're planning for us to do will need to happen fast. He's planning to propose to her tonight."

"I now have a greater grasp on why you sought power from that tome," Iala said. "Still, he confided in you his plan to propose?"

"Yeah, pretty sure he was gloating about it."

"A desire to gloat is a weakness that can be exploited. It betrays an insecurity that requires soothing or an overconfidence that can lead to his downfall."

"I think it's the confidence. And he's just kind of a jackass who likes to do stuff like that."

"Still, I believe it would benefit us if I was able to obtain information about our target firsthand." Ethan watched as Iala reached behind her back and then pulled back a hand full of glittery powder. She tossed it up in the air and walked into it. As she passed through, she took on Ethan's appearance. "I will return."

"Wait-" Ethan started to say, stopping himself just in time for his voice not to echo down the hall as the fairy stepped out of the room and into the shared living space. He waited, breath held, for almost 20 minutes before she returned. As soon as she closed the door her disguise fell away, glittery powder disappearing as it hit the ground.

"I have a solid evaluation of this 'Seb' now."

"What the hell are you doing?" Ethan asked. "Pretending to be me, what if they caught on that something was up?"

"Then I would be inexcusably bad at what I do," Iala said, sounding and looking displeased. "Now, if you will allow me to continue, I have formulated a plan. While I do believe that he cares deeply for your 'Georgia', I did notice that his eyes wandered to the other girl-"

"Lydia."

"I am aware," she said, falling back onto his bed. "He is not immune to the charms of another woman."

"Just because he was looking doesn't necessarily mean he'd cheat."

"I am able to deduce much from studying humans," Iala said. "Do have some faith in me. Now, as for my plan..."
