Try to prank Viela using bugs and insects

“So, all you have to do to get a new room is convince Taggie to be your girlfriend? Huh, sounds like a good deal,” Orchid commented before munching on an apple. She was one of Delphi’s friends, a short (for an elf) woman with a fiery red mane and piercing blue eyes.

“Don’t listen to her,” Violet said, grabbing the apple out of Orchid’s hand. She was a svelte elf with wine-colored hair and unbreakable poise. “If you are going to propose to Taggie, don’t do it for some dumb rule, do it because your heart tells you to.”

Delphi joined Orchid and Violet. Now that she was half-dressed, she finally got the courage to join them in one of their picnics. The grass tickled her slim bottom as she sat cross-legged under the shadow of a tree. She pressed the jester’s hat against her crotch for whatever good that did to her.

“Delphi, ever since I’ve met you you’ve been pinning for Taggie like if you were a dog, and she was the last bone on the junkyard. This is fate’s way of telling you to go for it!” Orchid continued.

“W-what? I don’t!... It’s not that obvious, isn’t it?”

“To anyone that isn’t Taggie, yeah, it is.”

“Most people think you are already dating. Haven’t you read the yearbook? You two were voted the cutest couple on campus by a wide margin. Also, the most annoying.”

Delphi turned even more purple. To think that the whole campus knew her innermost secret! That was something she’d rather not think about. “B-but I can’t! What if Taggie rejects me?”

“Then you can move on with your life and keep being friends with her if you want,” Violet replied while delicately peeling a grape. “Just look at me, I confessed to Orchid years ago and she laughed at my face. We are still friends.”

“What?! I didn’t know.”

Orchid shrugged. “Eh, I like stout, short guys with long beards. Violet’s like the opposite of my type.”

Delphi stared in silence, her friends slowly eating away the apple while she was lost in thought. “Ok, fine. I’ll …think about asking her, but how would I do it?”

“Be direct,” replied Orchid. “Just say: I love you and want to be your girlfriend. Also, we get a new room if you accept.”

“No,” Violet shook her head. “Gotta woo Taggie first, dazzle her, get her in the mood. Once she lowers her defenses, BAM, you tell her.”

“Yes, yes, that sounds good. But how do I dazzle her?”

“Maybe give her a gift? Something she really wants. The more spectacular it is, the better.”

“Something Taggie wants …” Delphi stood up. “Yes, that’s it! I’ll propose to Taggie by giving Viela to her wrapped in a neat little bow. Thanks, girls!” With a plan already in the works, Delphi ran away from the meadow to start putting it into action.

“So she is going to try to prank Viela? Capture her somehow?”

“Seems like it… That’s going to end poorly.”

“Oh boy will it.”
