What do you do?
Try to log out
Deciding that your first experience was enough for now, you go to try and remove the VR headset. Grabbing for it… nothing. You’re just touching your head. You try a few more times when a message appears.
“Players cannot log out until atleast two of following conditions are met:
- have more trainer battle wins than losses
- have collected 1 million in cash
- have collected 6 unique pokesubs
- beat a Pokesub gym
- take 200 loads from unique trainers/pokesubs
- Regardless of other conditions, must not be under any negative status effect (poisoned, paralyzed, hypnotized, ext)
“Players can rest in game for real effect, and system can sustain play through for a maximum amount of 31 days before body needs cannot be met. This is the only forced loggoff time.
Well… shit. I guess it makes some sense to have a goal before logging out, and most are achievable. Especially because if you’d won the first battle, you’d be able to log out. It also allows experienced players to come and go as they please. Still… some of them, like earning a million dollars or taking that many loads… I guess no matter how much you sucked, in this case literally, there is still a path out. Though a month stuck in game seems crazy, at the rate you’ve taken loads so far you wouldn’t last that long.
Resigning to your temporary trapped fate, you decide your best bet is to heal your Eevee, and try to meet some of these goals to log out. If you got two wins without losing, or caught four more pokesubs, you think you’d be good. The status effect part worries you alittle, but you are fairly certain you are in the clear on that.
With that, you start walking, hoping to find a path and therefore a town.
