Try to get past the redhead and open the door

Karen felt panic rising up in her chest. This sort of thing just didn't happen in real life, did it? Her instincts told her to step back as the woman stepped forward, but that would just take her away from her only escape route. She thought fast. She was a little bit shorter than the other woman, and while that might put her at a disadvantage in terms of reach, it meant she was lower to the floor. If she could reach the door maybe she could pull it open and flee back out into the corridor?

Unfortunately, Karen hadn't noticed that the woman had locked the door. Okay so the lock was on the inside and Karen could easily unlock it, if she had the time... But she wasn't aware of this.

She took half a step back, then, as the naked redhead stepped forward, she ducked under the outstretched arm and lunged past the woman, aiming for the door.
