Try to find a way out of the forest

Lauren decided it was best she keep moving. Though he had taken her food from her, she wasn't exactly to wild about him coming back. She hadn't liked the way he was looking at her. Standing up, she brushed herself off and started into the forest. It was cold out which prompted her to pull her red cloke tighter around her.

Unfortunitly, the forest seemed to be never ending. Lauren hadn't spent much time out in the wilderness and always heard about people lost in the woods going in circles when lost. She had a path to follow but where it would take her, she had no idea. The path lead her to a small clearing which she was at first relieved to find until she realized that it just lead to a bridge crossing a river. On the other side was more forest. "I really hope there is an end to this path." She said as she started over the bridge.

As she made it halfway across the bridge, it started to rumble and Lauren's blood ran cold as she heard a booming voice from under the bridge. Lauren then stumbled backwards as an ugly face appeared over one side of the bridge. Followed by a pair of massive hands slamming down on each side of the bridge. Blocking her path in either way. The ugly face then leaned over the bridge, it's eyes looking at Lauren. Lauren stumbled back in terror, stepping on her cloak and landing on her butt. "WHO DARES CROSS MY BRIDGE." A bridge troll Lauren thought. "I'm Lau.....uh....Red.....Red Riding Hood. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to disturb you. I just wanted to cross the bridge. I'm trying to find my grandma's house." "No one crosses my bridge for free. If you wish to cross, you must trade something." Lauren knew she was in a pickle. She didn't exactly have anything to trade at the moment. Maybe if she asked nicely, the troll would just let her go back the way she came. If worse comes to worse, she could always jump over the edge of the bridge though she wasn't sure if she'd be able to swim fast than than a giant troll.
