Try to enjoy the city.

Before you can leave, Yin, Delphi, Alice, and Snow are waiting for an explanation. So you give it to them. All of it, at least what the other three know. It will only lead to problems to keep it a secret from everyone, and these girls probably can't keep their mouths closed anyway.

"In a way, you were also created," Alice mutters.

"A demon king, huh? That's pretty neat," Snow comments.

"I will still be your maid as always, Master." Yin bows her head.

"I know it's crazy, but yeah. That's all we know though. I couldn't recall what I never knew in the first place, but that's what was in my dream," you explain.

There's a lot to think about. You were captured and tested on, and given power to become a demon king. Not only that, but a lot of people are aware of this. You can only hope they don't see you as even more of an outcast now. To make matters stranger, you swear you recognize the girl in the lab coat as more than just the person who kidnapped you. Her face is familiar. As the four of you walk, you think more about it. And then...

"Vivi!" you shout.

"Huh? What?" Niki looks to you, as well as the others.

"The one who took me from my home. She looked like Callisto and Vivi."

"Did we not discover Delphi was experimented on by one of Vivi's sisters?" Amara says.

Your heart sinks a bit. "What does that mean though?"

Delphi is being uncharacteristically quiet, until her name is said. "Shit!"

"What are you thinking, Delphi?" you ask.

"Do you know what this means? You're probably right on the money. This bitch kidnapped both of us. It's the same person. We were experimented on. I dunno if it was for different reasons or not, but... shit! I'm so pissed off right now, I could--"

"Hey. I'm mad too, but think about it. Not only do we now have more information on finding this chick, but we can do it together. We're kinda the same, so you don't have to feel alone."

Delphi turns and faces you for a long moment. There's something going on behind her eyes, and you wish you could read minds. She's staring deeply at you. You're not sure what to say, or if you should say anything at all, but you notice a bit of pink starting to glow on her face. Her breathing stutters. Suddenly, she looks away and clears her throat.

"The same... Not alone..." she mutters under her breath.

"You all right?" you ask.

"Of course I am!" She huffs. "Don't worry about it."

"I think we should just try to have fun for now," Niki suggests. "There's nothing that can be done about what happened in the past."

Speaking of the past, those three haven't had the happiest times either. But if I tell them I saw everything, they would probably get really embarrassed about it, considering everything that happened. And they might even figure out I was partially responsible. We'll have to talk about it another time. I doubt they'd wanna get all depressed about their upbringings right now anyway.

"Then let's head to the center of the city." Eva points forwards. "It isn't that far. There's a really pretty fountain and a lot of people come there to play music, paint, and all sorts of stuff."

"Sounds good to me." You give her a nod. "Lead the way then."

You follow behind. After a bit of walking, you all arrive at a huge plaza with a towering fountain spraying water from the mouth of a wolf up into the air. Magical lights radiate from orbs along the concrete layers, and benches are set up all around it. The ground is flat, smooth stone bricks, which spirals out into several paths leading out into the city. You see people with instruments playing music, somebody with a canvas out painting just like Eva said, and even some people dancing. It's a lively, happy place under the afternoon sun.

Eva scurries towards the fountain with glee.

"Don't fall in, Eva!" Niki calls out.

"I won't--Woah!" She stumbles forwards, nearly planting her face straight into the water.

Amara hurries over to make sure she doesn't actually fall in.

Meanwhile, Niki is distracted by someone selling snacks nearby. The scent of cooked meat wafts beneath your nose.

Yin, Snow, Alice, and Delphi stick together and wander off as well.

The atmosphere is relaxing.

You lose yourself in the scent and sounds. So much so that you don't even notice the person running towards you. Suddenly, the air is knocked from your chest as a black-robed figure slams straight into you. A cute, feminine grunt is hard upon contact. You look down to see a set of beautiful blue eyes looking up towards you, but she quickly pinches the hood and tugs it down. In the distance, you can see two angry, burly men with swords, and despite their distance, you can feel their attention locked onto the one before you. They're moving quickly and with hostility.

"What's going on?" you ask.

"Please," she says quietly. "I need to get away. If they catch me, they'll--"

But she turns her head to see they're closing in, and bolts.

Damn it... How am I supposed to resist helping?!

You follow suit.
