Try to breathe

After countless attempts to get some, you push Christina off your face, making her fall off the couch. . You immediately feel bad , and want to apologize. Before you can do so , she starts panicking about something she sees through the window.

« Shit! My daughter’s arrived! Quick , leave by the backdoor! » she says , pointing at the sliding door at the end of the living room.

You make a run for it, and without bringing your shoes , you leave through the backyard before Christina’s daughter entered the house. You jump the fence of the property, and there you are on the sidewalk. You start heading home , since you’re pretty much done here. You also make sure not to pass by Christina’s home any timw soon.

As you’re walking , you receive a text message from Amber. You open your phone , and read it immediately.

« Hey Tyler , We got home sooner , my husband started to vomit this morning so we got back a day earlier . How are you? I need to see you about something important. Where are you? I can come pick you up. »

For some reason, you feel like Amber is angry at you. You don’t what could be wrong, but you could use a lift at the moment. And walking down the street with only a pair of white socks isn’t really comfortable.
