Try to blend it.

With her escape window gone, Wanda needed to try and hide. Fortunately her years of evading the law had taught her that sometimes the best place to hide is in plain sight. While still huddling in the corner, Wanda sees an inflatable inner tube floating nearby.

"That'll work," She says before taking a deep breathe and sinking under the water. Wanda swims under the tube and surfaces inside the ring. She then grabs the edges of the ring and propels herself up just enough for her to see while her bare breasts remain hidden behind the tube. The water was fairly murky hopefully enough that no one could notice her exposed butt. Wanda then started gently kicking her feet and waded through the water.

"This is insane," Wanda whispered to herself. This was a big party! Wanda spotted at least 50 people in total. "My reputation would be ruined if anyone realized I was na-"

"Oh hey," A voice said behind Wanda. Shocked the Sokovian Housewife turned around to see an African American women in a yellow one piece sitting on the side of the pool. "You're Wanda right? It's nice to meet you."

"Oh um hi," Wanda said putting on a smile, "it's nice to meet you too, umm."

"Sam, I'm Sam. Don't worry about not knowing my name. We really haven't talked before."

"Oh, well I'm glad we finally got the chance," Wanda paddled closer to her new friend, but not too close. Conversation was a good way to avoid attention. "So what brings you to the party?"

"Ha. Believe it or not it's my party. Well I mean its Dottie's party, but it Dottie's party for me. Anyway this should have all been explained in the invitation didn't you read it.

Um, Wanda said with a guilty smile, "I'm kind of a party...crasher."

"Ha well I'm happy to hear I'm someone who's party is worth crashing. Well considering I'm finally getting the chance to meet you I'd say we're square."

"Lovely," Wanda replied, "I didn't know meeting me was such important occurrence."

"Well of course. From what I hear you Maximoff's are always getting up to some waxy shenanigans almost weekly.

"I wouldn't go that far," Wanda said with a shrug, "we're just a normal All American family who definitely don't cause crazy neighborhood scandals.

"Really because it looks like your doing something pretty scandalous right now," Sam said calmly

Wanda's eyes widened at Sam's claim. She shrank down further into her innertube.

"Sam, please." Wanda whispered.

"A strapless swimsuit! Most mother's of two wouldn't even try it."

".....YES! Yes the strapless swimsuit. I um haven't worn it in a while and like they say nothing ventured and all that."

"Well I applaud your bravado. If I wasn't for your good reputation as a family women, I'd think you were trying the get the attention of some of these fellas." Sam and Wanda looked over to see a group of young men looking over at them, especially Wanda. The housewife quickly looked away and blushed slightly.

"No! no. nothing like that" Wanda said. "So changing the subject. Why is Dottie throwing you this pool party anyway."

"Oh well, we've been neighbors a long time and now that I'm moving she wanted to celebrate. Although I wish she would have scheduled this sooner."

"Is that so. Why are you leaving? Westview is such a lovely town?"

"That's the thing I'm not leaving Westview. Some rich guy really loved my house. Said it spoke to him or something like that. So I sold it to him for a TON of money and I'm getting a bigger place across town. Already got all my stuff moved there after this party I'm driving straight there.

As Sam told her story a light clicked in Wanda's mind.

"Wait a minute," Wanda interrupted, "you're saying your house is completely empty right now?"

"Yep"

"And this rich guy when is he going to move?"

"Well after the move he's going to decorate it before moving in. I think he said the decorators he hired would be ready in a few weeks."

Her house would be completely empty for a few weeks. If Wanda could make her way to Sam's old house and somehow sneak in, she would have somewhere comfortable to hide whilst she came up with a plan to get some clothes and go home. It was crazy but it was better then sneaking through backyards in her birthday suit.

"Ok. One more question which house is this?"

Sam pointed and Wanda followed her finger to a bright red, two story house right next door, separated from Dottie's house by a brick wall. It was the perfect place to hide out. And the only thing between Wanda and this safehaven was 100 feet of completely open yard.

Ok this is progress. I just have to think of a way to distract everyone for a few minutes so I can run over there. I've got plenty of time to think of a plan.

While Wanda was thinking the hostess Dottie got up on the stage to make an announcement.

"Ok everyone," Dottie yelled. "In 15 minutes we will be starting the Cannonball competition so I need everyone to start getting out of the water and line up by the diving board."

Immediately almost everyone in the pool headed for a later or the shallow end steps.

"Oh that Dottie always so assertive," Sam said standing up, "Well Wanda I've got to go talk to Dottie, but I hope I get to see a LOT more of you in the future." She then walked off leaving Wanda alone

"Yeah," Wanda said. Her voice creaking, "you just might."
