Try to backtrack

Realising that you have absolutely no experiencing with forests you decide it's probably not a good idea to get lost in the forest so you turn around and start walking back to realise that you just managed to get lost.

You try your best to find distinctive features you passed before but it is hard to tell trees apart. So after some time you're sure that you are absolutely lost with no clue from what direction you came.
