Try to Improve Your Chances

Maybe you just need to improve your chances for a date.

"What percentage of world population is female?" you type, moving your fingers across the holographic screen of the app, and the answer comes back: 49.6%.

You type, "60% of the world's population is female." You've been happy with the results so far, so you slide your finger across both the "Enter" and "Keep Changes" simultaneously to speed up the process.

A red pop-up window proclaims, "Instant Mode Activated," but you're more interested in looking around. On the opposite platform, the small crowd waiting for a train back toward the city does appear to be more female than male. You crane your neck down to see the outdoor tables, and pretty much every one appears to be occupied by a male-female pairing -- except for a few that appear to have a one-man-two-woman group.

Well, a throuple is something to think about for the future. Right now, you'll be satisfied with one person.

There's a faint "bloop" sound, and you look down at your hand to see a text message pop up on the holographic display: "Looks like you're still at the station, hon. Something wrong?" It's from someone named "Mike."

It's then that you finally realize your hand is equipped with long, manicured fingernails, you're wearing a short skirt that reveals a pair of smooth, shapely legs, and there are a couple of decent-sized breasts beneath your green-and-black shirt.

Shocked, you actually leap to your feet -- or try to, but you come down awkwardly on one of the high-heeled sandals you're wearing, and you plop back down on the bench. A woman on tho other platform looks at you with a quizzical expression.

You take a few deep breaths, feeling the unusual sensation of a bra encircling your chest as your diaphragm rises and falls.
